Sounds like several people are committed (to winning a huge jackpot lol) for a meet and greet and HL slot pull(s) November 25 at Mirage. Tentative time is 4pm. How about anyone interested meet at the Lobby Bar for pre-game warm up. If a better time or meet-up place works, we can adjust to best fit everyone's schedule.
    Cheers! Can't wait!

just curious, do you have pre-arranged plans for tax consequences if you do hit a big one?

    Edserv,

Wishing I could join all you folks in your M&G and slot fun, but it looks like I can't get out of Thanksgiving at home this year!
And then there's the Black Friday madness at Dollar Tree...

I wish you and all your lucky accomplices a great time! Best of luck splitting that jackpot!

    RICHARD

I'm from the Netherlands, so I don't think I pay taxes (I never won that much lol, so I'm not sure).

    Copied from the Thanksgiving thread:

Great idea to go for drinks before the slot pull! I'm always up for happy hours and drinks lol.

And I was thinking, about the drinks for during the slot pull, maybe we can pass a Fat Tuesday on our way from the happy hour to the slot pull and get ourself a large slushie to bring to the high limit room?

Wow- you read my mind about the Fat Tuesday.... that's funny. I think the closest one is across the street at Venetian. Someone at Mirage a few trips ago said they have a place there that is better than Fat Tuesday but I have yet to find it.
I may venture over and have a couple Sin City Brews and grab a Fat Tuesday before the slot pull @ 2:30 or 3pm.

Hi Lady Fortuna or Lucky Lady, lol...I'm an Italian Canadian. Got this from another poster & thread. So you are our seated player and the person who will collect the $$$$$$ as the Netherlands are included in the treaty with the US.

It's not just the UK, here's a complete list of countries that have a tax treaty with the US and therefore no taxes on gambling winnings:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Russia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine, and the United Kingdom.

    Sounds like a plan!

Of course I had to search for that "better than Fat Tuesday" slushy place at Mirage and I think they meant Rhumbar. I even found a description where to find it:

Walk out past Carnegie Deli and California Pizza Kitchen like you're going to the Strip and Rhumbar will be on the left as you exit.

I'm so happy November is finally coming close enough, that we can start to make plans and set things up! I've got the butterflies every time I think of it.

You do realise that I might call security and tell them I don't know any of you and you are trying to steal my money $$$$$$

But without kidding, wouldn't it be great if we hit it big?!

Then another thing, maybe a bold idea, but what do you think about: if we don't have 10 or more people together, that we still come up with a bankroll of a minimum of 1000 Dollar? So in other words, if there's only 4 of us, we each lay in $250.

Good question. It also depends a bit on the amount of people and bankroll we have I think.

For me personally, I would think we need at least 20 pulls (in total, not p/p lol) to feel we have a fair chance of hitting something interesting.

If there won't be more than 10 people, then automatically our bankroll will be $1000 max (if we each lay in a minimum of $100), divided through 20 pulls = $50 per spin.

But on the other hand, I will totally go with the flow of the group and enjoy the ride, whatever we do. I have a feeling something epic is coming up here!!

Just to give an idea of what we're looking at with a bankroll of 1000 Dollar:

    $100 per spin = 10 pulls
    $75 per spin = 13 pulls
    $50 per spin = 20 pulls
    $40 per spin = 25 pulls
    $30 per spin = 33 pulls
    $25 per spin = 40 pulls
    $20 per spin = 50 pulls
    $15 per spin = 67 pulls
    $10 per spin = 100 pulls

Somewhere in between $20 (50 pulls) and $50 (20 pulls) per spin probably?

Depending on how big the group is, we could decide how many spins we want per person and that way see what denomination we play. For example:

If we have 10 people playing, wanting 4 spins p/p, then the denomination is $25.
Ik we have 5 people playing, wanting 5 spins p/p, then the denomination is $40.
