I would like to rent either a Corvette or Mustang GT convertible to take a trip through Red Rock Canyon, to Pioneer Station for lunch, a stop or two in an obscure casino in Jean or Primm, and then over to Hoover Dam and back to the hotel. My wife isn't the biggest car nut so getting a true exotic car that is always full out will annoy her in about an hour. Would love to take our time, with the top down, but also pop the accelerator a bit too.

So, does the group know of any good rental places that the corvette may be the top of the line car, where I am not inadvertently paying for the people who screw up a Lamborghini?

BTW, I have looked at Hertz and they only have Porche's that have low daily mileages and would like to get something a little better than the V6 Mustang convertibles all the airport rent-a-car places have.

I say rent a Ford Raptor then you can really take a ride through Red Rock Canyon. Seriously Hertz is renting the Shelby Mustang GT-H's again so you might try them. I know my wife loves her Shelby GT and would love to try out the new Hertz model.

I have a Mustang Gt. While its a blast to drive, I'll think you'll like a Vette even more.

I looked at Hertz as well and saw a lot of vehicles, one was the Shelby GT for around $200/day in October.

Wife and I rented a Mustang Conv in mid Sept a few years back, great for about an hour or 2 then temps went up to a 100 had to put the roof up and A/C on was baking like a Turkey.
