Will be in Vegas in a little under 3 weeks and was wondering what you guys think the best High Limit slot parlor on the strip is? I am planning on running $1000 through somewhere. Could be for any reason, they have your fav machine, cocktail service is great, you always win...etc.

Wynn. Gorgeous room, spotless machines and great CW service.

Mandalay Bay. I love the machine selection and have had very good luck there this year - except for last week. [emoji16]

How long will $1000 last in the Wynn HL room? Will they let anyone in there? I know some places limit to premium card holders.

I've had great luck on the Wolf Run, Kitty Glitter and Double Diamond Deluxe ($25 demon, center of the room) machines. But.... last week I hit nothing! Good luck! I hope you have a great trip and hit lots of big ones!

Anyone can go in. I have never had any luck in the Wynn HL room. I've had much better luck in the HL machines that are just outside the HL room.

@Irishkicker23 Cosmo also has a beautiful HL slot room. Be sure to stop there and check it out if you can.

There are plenty of $5 machines and even one or two $1 multi-line VP games. Obviously, your luck will determine how long a grand will last. But (worst case) I'd say it's more than enough to enjoy the room for a bit and have a drink or two...unless you play super fast and have really shitty luck.

Yeah, I like Cosmo's new room. And the employees in there are super friendly. CW service is good (and easy on the eyes) as well

This is highly dependent on the denomination, game, and luck. A 2-coin $25 reel machine can eat $1000 in a few short minutes...or minute if really unlucky. On a 20-40 line $1 Video slot, $1000 can go poof in a short few minutes as well. If you just want to get some play and drink(s) during your time in there, I would stick to $5 reels, 9-15 line $1 Video slots, and maybe playing a little bit of $10 reels very very slowly.

@sindustry thanks. I'm thinking $5 or $10 top dollar or pinball.

You would think the WYNN would be a great HL room because of all the coin-in action it should have.

Thanks. My question was somewhat rhetorical.

@Irishkicker23 - glad you started this thread since I often allocate $1000-1500 each trip just for HL slots with varying degrees of failure and success.
@sindustry listed some good options for this size BR - thanks also for that.

I find the Wynn HL room beautiful but intimidating so only played there once. Bellagio HL is very popular. My two favorites are Cosmo and Mirage because a) I feel comfortable there and b) I can win there. I have never tried the multi line video slots - just 3 reel slots or WOF. I usually play $5 or $10 reel slots, occasionally $25 for a few spins before I chicken out. I often see hand pays on the multiple lines dollar slots anywhere from $10-50 a spin. My host tells me she has many clients who frequently win on those dollar multi line Video slots.

Any others who do this - on that size bankroll - do you have any tips or strategy to share as to denominations and types of games and whether you always bet max credits if there is no progressive involved? On the multi line video reels do you play less than max? Any 'go to' machine that you always play win or lose?

Would love to hear how your $1000 HL strategy works on your trip @Irishkicker23 - please come back and tell us - wishing you great success!

@Geogran I'll def. let you know how it goes, maybe even some video and live updates depending on how drunk I am at the time.
