I try to arrive earlier in the day to help get used to the time change, and then crash for a couple of hours. After I wake up, shower, get dressed to the nines, then order some drinks from room service. As the sun is setting over the Strip, I just enjoy the view while sipping my drink and feeling the anticipation build!

For me being from California it's only an hour flight so sleeping is out of the question. Get off the plane and take my shuttle over to the hotel. Get in the room and unpack things. Then I usually flip on the Tv and sit down on the bed for a sec. Check and make sure everything in the room is in order and then I immediately hit the strip  . Now back in the days of living in OHio and traveling to Vegas....made things a little more complicated. It was about a 5 hour flight from Cleveland so I would get to the hotel and just lay down and watch tv for a couple hours...but then I would head out. I don't play games haha

Tip the Bell Hop who followed me up to my room, chat with the Suite Assistant and order my Ketle One Vodka and Hitachino Beer from her. Hang up clothes that need hung up in the closet. Put my cash, IPad in safe. Then it is off to Lounge32 to crab some light bites to eat...then down to the casino to start the fun!

I forgot a little thing I always do, no matter if the room is in Minneapolis, Kansas City, New Orleans or Vegas- I always check out the view. That actually is my first thing

Go to the bathroom. It's a long drive with few stops between Boise and Las Vegas. ;)

My arrival ritual usually goes like this:
Get to the room, take off my shoes, call bell desk to bring up luggage, order room service for some dinner, pour a cocktail, open the windows and take in the view.
Eat some dinner and relax from the road. And then I remember there's a casino downstairs and feel that rush of "I'm in Vegas!!!" The rest is usually kind of blurry. :drunk:

I moved it out of TR as it doesn't appear to be one, but a misc-Vegas question.
