As the countdown begins for our 3rd trip this year, hoping you will share your favorite or luckiest slot machine(s) you play at Cosmo, Mirage, and Green Valley Ranch.
What is the name/description, denomination, and general location (if you remember) of your favorite or best paying slot you traditionally play when you visit these 3 places? I will give as many a try as I can - and post pics of my gigantic, colossal wins (of course taking and posting pics will be as big a challenge as the wins). When in Vegas I'm a slot player, not a multi-tasker.

Some of my favorites (lucky) at Mirage are: $5 Quick Hits just outside the HL room, $1 Blazing Sevens Progressive near Cravings buffet, and pennies Willie Wonka.
No favorites yet at Cosmo or GVR (first time staying at GVR).

First two trips this year were not winning trips, so this trip is a Hail Mary regarding my beloved slots - mixing in some VP, I've been practicing and memorizing so I'm sure I'll be successful at my VP endeavors :wink2: - fingers crossed.

My wife and I like the $0.25, nine-line Heatwave machines at Cosmo and at Aria. It has treated us well. The $1, five-line version of Heatwave at Aria is a commercial-grade Hoover on steroids for us...so we avoid it.

Thanks (Baylor) - I don't remember seeing those Heatwave machines at Cosmo last time - added to my list to try this trip.
I like Aria a lot, but their slots have not been kind to me - but did have some luck with VP there.

Thanks LV - now I have a good excuse to run across the street to PH and give those a try.

Kitty Glitter (lol) at Cosmo, turned 1st $20 into $200 in a few mins, and it kept paying out the rest of the trip.
been a while since I've played at Mirage, but I did real well on the first Hangover slot a few years ago
never been to GVR, but was at Red Rock last year and enjoyed the $1 W.O.F.

I can only comment on Cosmo, I've never been to GVR and haven't gambled at Mirage in years. Cosmo has an excellent HL slot room, my faves are the $5 Top Dollar and the $5 4x double wild cherry.

Thanks Sparky4, I will try $5 Top Dollar and the $5 4x double wild cherry in HL's if my bankroll holds up. :woohoo:

(I won $9,500 on a $100 Top Dollar at Mirage a few years ago using FP I won in a drawing - have never played a $100 slot again, lol).

Nice! We played awhile at Cosmo in Saturday and by Sunday morning we both had emails to come get some free play that was good through today. Mine was $35 and hubby's was $85.
I hit $1600 on the $5 double top dollar at Paris last night, not in the bonus though, it was 7 double diamond double diamond.

    Happy birthday to me!

Alllllright Sparky4!!! Nice win! You should do a trip report !
    ( I love $5 top dollar - but when they are cold......ouch).

Congrats on that Cosmo FP. Were you staying at Cosmo or just playing at Cosmo? We've stayed twice and only FP we got was the FP included in the comp offer. Have never been lucky enough to get an email with just FP. Happy for the both of you. Hope you get more Hand pays!

Back in May we stayed at the Mirage. I had pretty good luck on the Pinball machines. Can't tell you exactly where the location is but from the elevators follow the path to the lobby. You will see a shockwave machine on your right. I'm guessing it's about four rows behind it. It was a multi denom machine

It seemed to hit pretty regularly and it saved my butt.

Geogran, I'll work on that trip report this weekend. I agree about the $5 top dollar, when they're cold, ouch!
We weren't staying at Cosmo, we were at Paris and went over to Cosmo on Saturday to play in the HL slot room (and had one of the best lemon drop martini's EVER!). I got the email Sunday but it was only good for a few days. The same thing happened to us when we were there in February.

Thanks for sharing that Sparky4 - that seems to be a pretty innovative marketing strategy to get you to come right back to Cosmo before you leave town. Maybe one of these days we'll get one (when we don't stay at Cosmo, lol). I haven't heard of any other properties doing it so quickly within 24 hours.

Wooo-hoo! Whooooo is getting her slot strategy together for her next trip?

Unfortunately I didn't find my favorite machine yet at Cosmo (Maybe this trip?), it's been years since Mirage, and never stayed at GVR.

My favorite at Cosmo were probably the Quick Hit Fever ($1.50 max) by the sports book. No lucky game there yet, but LOVE the hotel and service, and generous players card perks. Looking forward to our next trip, and I KNOW you must be antsy!

Good Luck Geo....may you win enough to cover this trip, AND for your previous trip!!!!!!
