I'm not whining, just a little bored with nothing to do, one handed.

Dec 20th I had surgery to repair my broken wrist and he placed two pins in the wrist. After that, I developed not one, but two different infections. The wrist finally healed and then I developed carpal tunnel in the same hand.

OK, so this morning he went in again and cut the ligament to ease the pressure on the nerve.

I came out of surgery and said I felt no difference. Hospital staff and surgeon said it would take about 6 hours for the local anesthetic to wear off. Well, here I am at 6+ and nothing. Fingers still numb.

The only "good news" so far is that I have maxed out my health care deductible for the year. Everything healthcare-wise from here on out for 2016 will be "free". Premium is $873 per month for the two of us. Much better than the $1,450 we paid last year.

    Only a month to Vegas!

Sorry to hear of your medical woes. Hope it works out well and in a short period of time. You type very well one handed. I will not make any assumptions as to how you gained that skill. I wouldn't have the patience for that.

I've had wrist issues on and off for years. Trying to avoid surgery, I started acupuncture a little over a year ago. Much to my surprise I currently have no pain and full range of motion. That hand is still a bit weak due to years of problems but getting stronger.

Day 2 and pinky and ring finger feel normal. The other 2 fingers and thumb, no change.

Damn, right now I'm like one of those people on Facebook I hate! Who gives a sh*t.

Is it possible that there's some swelling that is irritating the nerves?

Hopefully you'll be feeling better soon!
