EdgeVegas had a tweet from someone with a picture of the placard on the craps table at Cromwell that indicated they had 100x odds. The placard at the time was a $10 minimum. Granted, not many folks can afford 100x odds, but for those who are so inclined, seems like the Cromwell is a step up from Casino Royale as far as atmosphere is concerned. Also makes one wonder why Caesars wouldn't give the same odds to their other Strip properties. I think their casino in Baltimore (Horseshoe ) offers 100x odds (albeit at $15-25 minimums).

I think it's the exact same reason they offer "full pay" video poker at quarters (for 1/5th points). Their gaming numbers are hurting and they are trying to entice people to play there with seemingly attractive rules. If Cromwell counts "odds" in your rating like CET properties often do, I'd expect your comps to be shit unless you bet heavy odds, just like how that full pay VP is only 1/5th points.

Horseshoe casinos nationwide have offered 100X odds ever since they been owned by CET out of homage to Binion. 100X odds is generally overkill though. You probably get the same effect by offering 20X odds on the strip at least.

Looks like I'll be rolling some bones at Cromwell this summer (assuming they keep this policy until I get there).

Is it weird that I'm at half-mast right now?

It would be weird if you weren't.

I'm going to check this out for myself shortly after landing May 6.

Yeah, this is a nice setup for you. Can bet small on the pass line and get very big action on those odds!

And here was your reply to "full pay" VP at Cromwell last year...outstanding! :evillaugh

Brilliant , Isn't everyone at least at half mast?

Last time I was in Vegas I played quite a bit at Bills. I just may be taking a few trips to the Cromwell from NYNY next week!

I would never even play 20X on a $5 table but I really give Cromwell props for doing this. I have nothing bad to say about their property. Kudos to a property that treats their guests well and wants our action. I will be gambling there a week from tomorrow when I get into town.

That is awesome. When the table gets hot, it is much more profitable to increase my odds bet than my flat bet. I start with triple odds, and can go up from there.

I already loved the Cromwell - great dealers and waitresses; now I will give them most of my craps play.

I was there last week and played at Cromwell with a guy who was taking 50X odds (playing PL and Come Bets) and eventually pressed it to 100X. Bought in for 5k, cashed 27.5k.
