Can I get away with BYOB at the Planet Hollywood pool?

On last summer's Vegas trip, I discovered the ABC shop at the Planet Hollywood mall, where we were able to get cheap beer, booze, and water. I really don't want to pay the ridiculous prices and gratuities they charge at the resort pools these days when I can buy the drinks at ABC for a tiny fraction of the price.

My question is this: Is it feasible to sneak my own drinks into the Planet Hollywood pool area without getting busted and kicked out? Do they watch the guests like hawks or can you bring it in a beach bag without anyone being the wiser?

I'm remembering a $50 pitcher of margaritas at the Vdara with horror.

Not sure about PH, but at MGM and Aria they check bags when you enter. You can only take in a bottle of water.

I'd be surprised if any strip pool doesn't check outside bags coming in. You may be able to sneak the little travel sized bottles in your shorts pockets if you're inclined to do so. The PH pool is on the 6th (maybe the 8th?) floor of the hotel so you could also request a room on that floor and quickly go back for a drink every so often.

Vodka in a water bottle. Or buy a drink then take the cup back to your room and refill. Sometimes works.

Ive stayed there 3 times, they check your bag - but they don't dig in - we took a water bottle filled with vodka and closed them tight enough so it looked sealed.
