GVR and RR are interchangable at the top. Sante Fe is actually very good... I would say on par or slightly better than the mid tiers on the strip. Palace isn't bad, but you may die of lung cancer just making it through the casino.

The only one of these I've experienced is the Palace Station and I would go back with a 2-for-1 ACG coupon and boarding pass card, making it about $9 for 2 people for dinner, but not without one. It's edible but it's cafeteria food. Stick to items that are not trying to be exotic and you will be ok.

Sunset Station was good back in the 90s but I went there recently and found it to be pretty mediocre. I went to Texas station for breakfast a couple years back and it was just awful. And that was breakfast, the hardest meal to screw up.

I've heard the Palace Station casino was smokey but I'd never been and wanted to see for myself. I thought maybe people were exaggerating. Maybe it wasn't as smokey as people claimed. Well, the joke was on me. It was no exaggeration.

The only one I've eaten at was Red Rock due to a MyVegas "two free breakfast or lunch" reward. It was just OK. I wouldn't have wanted to have paid for it.

You picked buffets from all corners of town, but left out several of the Stations.

My view - in order of quality (and probably value as well)

Red Rock - GVR (nearly a tie)
    Santa Fe
    Boulder Station (underrated)
    Palace Station (small but good)
    Fiesta Henderson
    Fiesta Rancho
    Texas
Sunset (used to be much better)

None are gourmet, but with a BOGO or points, they provide excellent value.

Thanks roycpa! I intentionally left out those other Stations buffets because we hope to use MyVegas rewards for the 4 I mentioned. I appreciate everyone's input.

Only eaten at four of them and would place the order:
    1. Green Valley Ranch
    2. Red Rock
    3. Sunset Station
    4. Texas (horrible)
