Via the Five Hundy facebook group: apparently Downtown Grand now has a free Buy Bet on the 4 and 10 for $10 or more. For those non-Craps players that means you get true odds and no house edge on buying the 4 and 10. Usually there is a 5% vig or $1 per $20 bet.

As far as I know this is the only casino in Vegas to offer this. Hope they still offer it during my upcoming trip.

Don't know. All I know from the facebook group is that it's $10 minimum. I'm also curious if the lay bet on the 4 and 10 is free as well. Will report back when I'm there at the end of the month. Unless someone else on the board is able to report first!

LVA confirms the free buy bet but they don't mention a limit either. I have a feeling this won't last until the end of the month. It's about time DTG did something smart to attract gamblers. The new CEO must know what he's doing. The original management at that place acted like they were running a Cinnabon, not a casino.

Yea must have been the same guy who was in charge of opening the Revel in Atlantic City who famously stated we are a resort that just happens to have a casino.

Supposedly they've recently re-loosened some of their VP as well. Just hope it lasts another couple weeks for my next visit...

I am guessing they wouldn't rate these bets?

    Like $5 pass $10 odds and $10 each on 4 and 10

I would be shocked if they rated the "free bets", I but I guess they would rate the other bets you are making. The biggest benefit from this promo would be if you were a $10 4 and 10 bettor as your vig would otherwise would be a buck. Not as crucial if you are a $25 buy bettor. Does anyone know if this promo has a expiration period? Does it expire after March?
