Am I allowed to wear headphones/listen music/take a conference call when playing video poker? I know phones are forbidden at the tables but I haven't seen much discussion regarding machines?

I used my phone numerous times to check strategy the last time I was playing at ARIA for what it's worth.

Video poker (or other machines) isn't a problem. It's at the tables where they truly enforce that rule.

Using any of these things at a machine is fine. But a conference call might annoy the crap out of your machine neighbors.

Luckily I don't talk much on conference calls especially this one since I'm the most junior employee on the call.

Conference call from a casino. Love it. Sticking it to the man.

I've only done that from the room, from the casino floor is a solid move.

A couple trips ago I was in the middle of a big project with lots of short update calls. I didn't want to make my wife mad by staying in the room so I took calls walking down the strip and at Todd English P.U.B. Not ideal but it is a way to salvage valuable vacation time.

I cannot tell you how many calls I've taken from that alcove on the Aria floor between the sportsbook bar and the poker room. Every freaking trip.

Yes as I am usually solo ill bring my headphones for VP/Slots and listen to music. They will jump on you immediately at a table, though, as I think most people know
