we usually go to vegas in may and stay at harrahs and get 5 nights comped. This year we are going in Sept. and cannot get one night comped. Do you think as it gets closer to Sept. they might comp us some nights?

Not a CET person but look at the events going on in sept when you go to see if there are conventions or other large events. I believe, that also plays into what casinos offer. Change your dates around to see if comps reappear. if not, call a host to see what they can do.

Try using the rate calendar instead of specific dates. Also if you have a traveling companion enter their card number also.

I thought CET only showed offers a few months in advance? Might be too early to see comp room availability for Sept.

When I enter the dates....nothing showing in offers due to being too early to show, I have gotten my comped rooms as far out as 9-10 months. I would continue to check daily to see if there is any change and also look at the convention schedule for big groups in town on those dates.

I, too, show plenty of comp nights at Harrah's in September.

Definitely keep checking the rate calendar! I leave in 2 weeks and I've been checking it regularly (having buyer's remorse after booking Flamingo). I've seen several other rates go down and several comp nights pop up.

Possibly. I'm staying at Harrah's in Nov. comped for 5 nights. But keep in mind that Harrah's is upgrading their property and the rate calendar may reflect that. It will be pool season up through Sept. and Harrah's, although not drawing a younger party crowd like Flamingo, PHO, Cromwell, and Caesars, is redoing the pool area, however minor, but Sept. is still pool season.
Once you get to Nov. - April, most of the rates at Harrah's are comped/mostly comped., at least Sun-Fri.

Sign in (i use my Facebook page), once you're signed in go to the top of the TR page, you'll see "Book Now". You'll then see the dates for the calendar. Doesn't matter if you choose flexible or specific dates, then, if you want to see all Vegas CET hotels, choose "Las Vegas", if you're more specific, choose the properties you would like to inhabit.

You can view the rate calendar a year in advance.

All clear in September (except Cromwell) until last week of Sept. . Then ceasars cost 5 days, Cromwell 7 and Paris costs $50.00 on 3 days!

Caesars Ent. has lots of offers and programs going on simultaneously, from which someone can book a room. However the most generous is often the mailer, which is usually quarterly and often sent 2-4 months in advance. So you might get a Q3 (July-Aug-Sep) mailer in March or April, which will likely contain multi-day Las Vegas hotel offers. Harrah's is a lower-end property so its easier to get free nights than at Paris or the Palace. "Check the web site often" is good advice, and don't panic just yet!

If CET doesn't already have your e-mail address, you might consider giving it to them. I get a lot of offers from them through e-mail.

What rates are they showing you?

Also, go their website WITHOUT logging in to see the monthly rate calendar... you might be picking some bad dates.

Looks like you are getting some discount. Guessing your play level has dropped below where they feel it is worth comping you.

Here is what I get without logging in.

    $65
    $65
    $79
    $169
    $179
    $99
    $109

If I saw a $16 room I'd be livid. LOL, can't they just give it to you? I mean they'll make it back on food / drink alone. Heck, they still get the resort fee. If it's any consolation, I didn't get any comps in Vegas this year (and your discounts are steeper than mine) but hopefully I'll change that with my next visit. In AC, on the other hand, I get comps all the time.

Aren't you running into iheartradio festival that week as well? Could be some impact to comp availability...
