Out of all MLife members - how many are noir or platinum

I searched the internet for a while, but couldn´t find anything. Out of all MLife members, what is the percentage of players who reach Platinum and Noir?
I am pretty sure this information isn´t public, so whats your guess?

200,000 points is relatively easy to reach Platinum as I can do that on a weekend. Noir is much harder. I'll ask my host, but I'm sure each casino has diff percentages. I'd say Bellagio, Aria may have the most Noir? I know that didn't answer your question, but I can ask my EX host, who is in big wig land now, and he'll probably know the exact numbers (if he's allowed to tell me).

 

No idea. But my guess is that the percentages are small because of the number of people who go to Vegas once or very infrequently. All those players are sapphire level

 

Judging from the lines at buffets, I'd say that the overwhelming majority are Sapphire. If I had to guess, I'd say that less than 3% are Platinum or higher. That may seem like a low number for us but pretty much everyone here are degens, however that's not the case in Vegas. But I'm just guessing.

Yup. Quite frankly, even if you eliminated the one and done type Mlife members, the % of people Platinum and up would be pretty small. Noir is invite only and I would guess that there are maybe 10,000 of those floating around, if that. Platinum is obviously much higher, but the minimum for Platinum even assuming non-specialty slots, is 60,000 of coin in. It's 200,000 of coin in on specialty slots. There are not that many people in Vegas playing at that level, let alone at Mlife.

 

I would guess a very small percentage. very very small for Noir.
We have been Platinum for several years now and the "perks" are becoming less enticing to us.
My MIL has already accumulated a little over 2mil in TC this year (about average for her) in slot play alone and she has never been "invited" to be Noir.
Noir really is reserved for the "whales" now days is all I can guess.

 

Agreed on there being a huge pool of non serious gamblers in mLife. I'm solidly platinum (as in, never gold and never even close to noir) and I'm one of the few it seems at Luxor and Monte Carlo where I stay because they give me lots of stuff. And I don't think I've ever played with more than one other person at blackjack tables in HL at Luxor. haha

I should switch but I have a relationship with my host who was the only person who gave me attention when I just starting and getting BOGO midweek rooms.

 

If I blindly put some numbers on the membership, as some people would call it an educated guess, I would say each higher tier has 10 times less members.
Such as 10000 Sapphire, 1000 Pearl, 100 Gold, 10 Platinum, 1 Noir. That would make Gold at 1%, Platinum at 0.1% and Noir at 0.01%.

 

For VMB members, that a totally different story,
Most of us are seasoned players (trying to put it in a nice way). Gold is practically the lost level here if he/she puts at least half of the play at Mlife.

 

The other thing with Mlife is that there aren't any shortcuts. If we were talking about CET, it'd be a different story. Between daily bonuses, multiplier promos, random handouts of TCs, etc. there are a lot of people who are Diamond/7 Star who figured out how to shortcut their way to those levels. Outside of a ton of resort spend, that's not the case for Mlife.

 

My dad has a NOIR card and a host but i have no idea about percentages .

 

Ive maintained Milfe Plat for the last 4 years or so with just 2 visits per year, roughly 7 nights each trip
Primarily on slots

Sure if you have 14 nights (which for most who live here in the US is the equivalent of at least three trips), and you're not playing any specialty slots, you only need to play about 2-3 hours a day on a slot at $3 a spin to hit platinum. I'm also assuming that with you're longer trips, you're paying for at least a couple nights on your trip, and probably some F&B as well. So I can see how it would be very easy for someone in your circumstance to hit Plat. If you end up spending 2k on resort spend between hotels and food over those two weeks, you can probably hit platinum by playing $3/spin on about an hour and a half of play a day. For most people who are taking 1 to 2 trips of 3-4 days/nights each, the play requirement becomes much much higher. Even two trips at 4 days a piece would require $7500 coin in per day on the slots to hit Platinum at a minimum. That's about a solid 4-5 hours of play at $3 a spin. And all of these hours of play are figuring relatively quick play of actual gambling. Not hitting the button casually, drinking cocktails, chatting, bouncing around the casino from machine to machine, and generally slow playing, but 4-5 hours of pounding the button consistently. Certainly doable, but not the kind of play that 95%+ of Vegas visitors are giving the casino.

 

I've been platinum for 2 years. Some sessions on roulette I could make 90,000 tier credits at once.

 

I was surprised while at bellagio last week how the checkin line was huge many times I walked by the lobby but the gold/platinum checkin line was always empty or had 1-2 people in it. I thought it would be longer.

 

Part of that is that most people who are platinum are going to use the private check in through their host.

 

True, but there's still not a ton of people in there. But it does account for a few more gamblers

 

I was told once by my host, that VIP check in at Bellagio is reserved for Noir only, but i think he lied to me ;-)

If it´s true that only 0,1% of MLife members are Platinum then the Dec. 15th changes make no sense at all! How much do they save by not offering turn down service (never experianced that) or by skipping the dedicated phone line (who has ever used that???).
