I just discovered "split card video Poker" (http://wizardofodds.com/games/video-poker/tables/split-card-poker/) on an online page today. Playing for a bit was a lot of fun. I got the following:

I've got the following questions regarding split card video poker:

Is it available in Las Vegas anywhere?

Is there an alternate strategy for playing split card video poker?

Unfortunately I don't think it's in Vegas...YET. But I expect it will be very soon. This game is really fun.

Unfortunately strategy does change somewhat. Particularly I would guess, straight and flush draws are stronger when you have the split card since you'll have two cards to draw to it instead of one.

Here is more discussion of it from Wizard of Vegas.

I've played it on the computer and love it also. Is it downtown anywhere?

Not yet. Downtown is usually the last to adopt new VP twists. If any casino picks it up this year, I'd be impressed. Only Golden Nugget has "Hot Roll" DT and that's well over a year old, and quite popular.

Videopoker.com currently says "Split Card Poker" available at Palace Station, Red Rock, Silverton, and Suncoast.

If anyone finds paytables that look favorable, especially at nickels, I wouldn't mind the info/pictures.

Yes Suncoast has 2 machines that I found today. I took some pics of pay tables for you Tring but won't be able to post them until I get home late next week.

The pic Exedor posted for $1 DDB is close except that the flush only pays 25. And on the machine here it doesn't show you the win amount for 5 of a kind (just says "at max bet only"). I guess you have to play it to find out. Max bet is 50 units so it's too rich for me at the dollar level. If I remember tomorrow, I'll throw a fiver in and see what it pays for nickels. I can afford that for the team but since I'm in my room reading VMB, you can all imagine how it's going so far!!

Interesting game Exedor. I only played it for 5 minutes but it WAS fun!

Paytable for Bonus Poker and Double Bonus, nickels

I played out my $5 on 3 play nickels, DD Bonus Poker

Then I got some split hands (playing max bet) and made a mistake.

I wonder what the strategy would be if it was a 5 instead of a King?

Don't think it matters. There's no bonus for 3 pair.

Super 6 Card Poker has bonuses for this though.

I couldn't see playing this, except for maybe goofing around with nickles. This game, Crazy Times, Random Rewards have too many strategy changes (I assume) to play accurately.

What is the value of a 3 to a flush using only 2 cards? Or 4 to a straight using 3 cards vs a pair? Ect.

Yeah, that's definitely part of the problem. I would assume 4 to a open ended straight with 3 cards easily beats a pair. 3 flushes with two cards, yeah, that's a possible hold too. Probably beats garbage.

Everywhere I listed probably has it at quarters. Often multiline machines are set as 5c, 10c, 25c, or 25c, 50c, $1. Either way, 25c is covered.

The issue is the game just came out in the casino. Only Palace Station, Red Rock, Suncoast, and Silverton currently have it. Dunno if you're planning on having a car or not.
