    My Trip Report

The day has finally arrived. I'm currently at the airport (BUR) (enjoying a coffee and Jameson) eagerly awaiting my 0730 flight to Vegas. It's been a whole year since my last trip and there were many months I thought this day would never come.

2015 was a shit show. My wife and I welcomed a new baby girl in June, unfortunately she was born with a number of complications that lead to us spending three months in the NICU. We finally made it home in September only to have our house flood five days later.

Life goes on. My saint of a wife insisted I still take my yearly boys trip to watch the NFL playoffs. This year I am lucky enough to get to watch my Seahawks play (born and raised in Seattle). Two of my college buddies are coming with me, I'll refer to them as Vince and Drama (Entourage ref). Vince lives in San Diego and Drama lives here in Los Angeles.

Drama and I land at 0830 Vegas time and Vince gets in at 0850. When Vince arrives well uber over to the Linq and place our bets on the NE/KC game. At this point I think I'm sticking with NE, though I don't feel good about it.

Here are some test photos before things get started

I will try my best to give updates as often as possible, but the Vegas air often causes me to throw caution to the wind. Worry not, I will post a thorough update upon my return.

The bankroll took a hit due to some unfortunate DFS lineups. (Fuck you Blake Bortles) So I'm looking at a gambling budget of around $1500 for two days. For the most part I'll be betting on the games, and playing craps. Though I have a sneaking suspicion that roulette will be good to me this trip.

    11,23,29,30 all day!

    That sucks man.

Just think of it as your good deed of the day by giving them away as surprise to an unsuspecting stranger. Put a good juju spin on it

Your wife sounds like my wife. I thank her every day for putting up with my sorry ass. Glad my Vikings could do what the Vikings always do so that you can more fully enjoy your trip.

Drama successfully talked his way into getting us a room without the early check in fee... On the 2nd floor.

Whatever. Don't plan on spending much time here
