Coming in on a Friday afternoon and looking for some ideas for Happy hour. I know about Chart House at GN and a few others but wanted to get your opinions on what to check out. What are the best Happy hours downtown?

4queens has a great happy hour from 3-6' I think, upstairs @ Chicago brewing and cigar bar. You can check 4 queens website for times for sure. Might just weekdays.

Not the cheapest for drinks (unless you drink PBR cans) but I love the meatballs and honey calabrese sausage and garlic bread at Pizza Rock, all on special for HH and late night reverse HH. Plus it's right across the street from where you're staying.

777 at MSS is the gold standard though, cheap beer and wells and snacks all of decent quality. I didn't know Chicago Brewing had their own reverse HH, will have to look for that.

The apps/food at Chart House are awesome and were a great deal back in June when my wife and i were there. Making me hungry thinking about it!

777 at MSS has good stuff too, more "traditional" and also usually some sushi specials during happy hour.

Hello Harley777, Oscar's Steakhouse in the Plaza Hotel offers daily happy hour from 4-7pm. Every Thursday is Ladies Night which means free drinks for the Ladies from 4-7pm! Hope you have a great time in Downtown Las Vegas!

If you're more interested in food, then I'd say Chart House. Grotto at GN has cheap pizzas during the afternoon. For drink specials and cheap apps, then the HH at 777 or at Chicago Brewing Company are tough to beat.

Oscar's is my favorite happy hour in downtown Vegas - it use to be 4:00 - 6:00, but they recently moved it to 7. The apps and wines are 1/2 off and you have to try the crab cakes and meatballs!

We had the crab cakes and seared tuna. Both were excellent.

$2.50 wells, house wine, and microbrew pints seems like a deal to me.

I was talking about food deals, they used to have Great food deals and now they have nothing that really could be called a deal.

Oh and they charge you 75 cents more for your Microbrew than you pay on the floor....that doesn't hit me as any kind of deal at all.

Four Queens for the win on Happy Hour Deals
