For the most part, the list is very similar to last year. There are a couple of small additions and deletions. An interesting new coupon is the $25 non-negotiable chip at Ellis Island. If I am reading the fine print correctly, it looks like a free bet rather than a match play.

Looks like a solid list this year.

Plaza's TWO times your age in free slot play on your birthday sounds intriguing. The older you are the better.

I like the new book. Will get it. Not sure about ACG.

That also intrigued me. My count was 65 in slot play I would play, not counting food or rooms comps. A solid deal for me this year.

For ten bucks last year they delivered the book to the hotel I was staying at. I called them up they said no problem. Charged me ten extra bucks was waiting for me at the hotel.

Another option is to pick it up at their office. It's close to the Orleans so right off the highway of you are going to have a car.

Make sure to read the terms and conditions on the back of the coupons.

    Terms and Conditions
Limit one voucher per person. Must sign up for (or be an existing member of) Players Club and show valid photo ID with date of birth to receive 2X your age in slot free-play. Must earn 1,000 same-day points prior to redemption. Valid only during the period from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. on the date of your birthday. Slot free-play rules apply. Voucher is void if altered or duplicated. Not transferable. Voucher has no cash value. Must be 21 or older. Not available with any other offers or discounts. Management reserves all rights. Offer expires December 31, 2016.

It takes $3 to earn a point at The Plaza so you have to run $3000 through the machines be it slot or video poker. Not a problem for some people. Not good for me.

Yeah good deal if Plaza is your home base. I would do it if I was Dracula and was 200 years old.

Seems this is more geared to DT business. And, I'm thinking that you would need several trips to take full advantage unless you design your day around coupons.

Called today and ordered for the first time. They will deliver to your hotel for $10 extra bucks. Just gave them date arriving and hotel confirmation. Easy. Thanks again for the info...

Definitely not strip oriented. We usually do a couple of days of dedicated coupon runs. There are a few that require a day of play (the D freeplay to maximize the $100). My 21 yr old daughter will be with us next trip so the coupon run will be in full swing since she has almost no budget to work with.

I like the book because I am able to go explore places I might not normally go to off the beaten path.

Just ordered mine... not sure if it will be worth it as I am a member at the most places DT already.

Question on the coupons, will be using the D Free play - $5 for 50 pts. Do I turn this one in when I wanna collect or at the start of the day?

You must present the coupon to start the clock on your 24 hours of point earning.

The LVA coupons are all good for existing members. Some of the ACG coupons require new membership. Regarding the coupon at the D, it is good for 24 hours vs. being dependent on the calendar. If you turn it in at 7pm, you have until 7pm the following day. That said, I have been turning it in early in the morning and plugging away all day to focus my play for comp purposes. If you do $10k coin in for a day you will reap the benefits for a while so the value goes beyond the initial $100 free play.
