2016 Trippies open They have cleaned up the bs ballot stuffing. Vote VMB

2016 Trippies are up and open for voting to registered VT site members. Chuckmonster and team have cleaned up the process since the fiasco two years ago where The D swept multiple unearned categories.
I returned to participating in the nomination and voting process. The D is still present in more categories than I think they deserve IMHO, but the categories look to be more evened handed and there seems to be a more respectable mix of properties.

Done and real happy they fixed that debacle on the voting by requiring registration

 

Already voted for VMB. It is quick and easy and I would encourage all VMBers to follow the link and do the same

 

Just voted. Very easy compared to a couple of years ago.

 

I wouldn't call it even handed. Some of the options were bizarre and there was no almost no respect for offstrip places.

 

Yeah they had definitely limited the places we could vote for and in some categories the choices were a WTF reaction on my part.

 

They take nominations, and then whittle the list down from top nominees. I saw most of my nominations appearing the voting categories.

 

Yeah, like Funkhouser said, if you don't like the nominees you can nominate your own picks next year before the voting round. I think there are definitely some "wait, what?" nominations, like Lago as Worst New Restaurant?????? Plus some silly ones like Cocaine for Worst Hangover Cure. But for the most part I agree with what got nominated.
