As I recall/understand it, you can use it at ANY CET restaurant, but you must get the voucher from the Casino where you are going to use it. For example, if you're going to use it at Giada's, you need to get the voucher from the Cromwell.

    Refer to this list:

    https://www.totalrewards.com/content/cet-tr/en/earn-and-redeem/on-location.html

It is also subject to any restrictions as to redemption, for example Searsucker and Yong Kang redeem at 2:1, so the voucher is only worth $50.

Also, the voucher is consumed totally when you use it, no change provided if you're under.

I will make it to Diamond myself this weekend. Does that mean I will be able to use the food credit this weekend for my 2015 usage, and still have a new $100 food credit available for use in 2016?

You only get one every time you pass 15,000 tier credits, so only once per year. But the $100 food credit doesn't expire until March 2017 for 15,000 tier credits earned in 2015. You should however have two on the books if you haven't used the one you earned in 2015 but surpassed 15,000 tier credits for the 2016 calendar year (when the time comes). Achieving 15,000 tier credits in the 2016 calendar year should earn you diamond (and the $100 food credit), good until March 2018.

And BTW, there is another $100 credit for reaching 40,000 points, but it has a different expiration date.

Just did this a few weeks ago. Although one person said that I couldn't redeem it for a restaurant not at the property we were staying at (Flamingo,) the next day the clerk at the TR desk said she could give me the voucher good for anywhere. In fact, the voucher didn't say anything other then "good for $100 at any CET property." We used it at Ruth's Chris and although our total was about $105, they said we were good. But, I was disappointed with my steak there! What did you think about it, doublegros?

My experience in October (we stayed at the Paris), could not use it at the Eiffel Tower restaurant, ended up using it at the Gordon Ramsey steakhouse .......I believe there are some places that just lease the space from the CET properties.....easiest way is just call the dining place, they will let you know if they accept TR or not.........by the way, the Ramsey signature beef wellington was just ok, but the pork belly was simply awesome! May very well have been the best food I have ever had!!!

Haven't tried a steak there yet but I've been meaning to. The gf and I were there for Thanksgiving and did the prie fixe menu. It was pretty decent overall, not great though. The lobster bisque to start was great and the turkey itself was very good, tender and juicy. The sides were also delicious (we chose creamed spinach and sweet potato casserole). The only parts that were mediocre were the gravy and the stuffing....but those are key! Pumpkin cheesecake afterwards was tasty.

Overall not a bad meal, but I would try somewhere else if I were to do another thanksgiving in Vegas.

The $100 Diamond celebration dinner earned in 2015 must be used by March 31, 2016.
7 star benefits work differently. If you earn 7 stars (for the first time) in 2015, you have all the 7 star benefits to use until March 31, 2016.
You will be 7 Stars as well from April 1, 2016 - March 31, 2017 and will be entitled to those benefits, even if you have zero play in 2016. Diamond benefits work differently. If you earn 80k tier credits in 2015, you have Diamond aspiration benefits to use until June 30,2016.
You do not get the aspiration benefits automatically in 2016.....they must be re-earned.

There are a few CET restaurants where the 7 star celebration vouchers can be used, but The Diamond voucher cannot. The Eiffel Tower restaurant and Koi come to mind.

Did they change the rules this year because I always earn my Diamond in the fall, but I don't use my $100 food credit until the summer? In fact I always take a break from Vegas between the time I earn Diamond until the next spring. If they changed the rule to this, I would never be able to use my food credit again.

No, I don't think there has been any change. My experience has been that it would have to be used my March 31 of the following calendar year it is earned.

The following is TRs stance on Diamond Aspiration...........

    Diamond Aspirations
    Close
    DIAMOND ASPIRATIONS

Additional privileges await as you further surpass the threshold of Diamond status and unlock each new level of experience.
ASPIRATION Level 1: 40,000 Tier Credits

Four complimentary nights and $100 folio credit
5,000 Tier Credits towards your 2016 Tier Score
Four Daytime or Nighttime tickets for the High Roller® in Las Vegas
$50 for use on CaesarsCasino.com in New Jersey

ASPIRATION Level 2: 80,000 Tier Credits

Retreat with four complimentary nights and $750 airfare credit
Companion Card to share your priority service benefits with a friend (valid through March 31, 2016)
5,000 Tier Credits towards your 2016 Tier Score
Four Happy Half Hour tickets for the High Roller in Las Vegas

Diamond Aspiration levels are based on your 2015 Tier Score, and the offers of each level you reach can be enjoyed through June 30, 2016. Some restrictions may apply. Please see Total Rewards Center for complete details.

The June 30 date is new this year. Previously, all Diamond Benefits earned in a calendar year, had to be used by March 31 of the following year. The above only references Diamond Aspirations. I would be very surprised if the $100 Diamond dinner was somehow extended by a year when all other benefits expire.
The only exception I can think of was in the first year of the aspirations program, they gave Diamond players the $100 dinner for being a diamond, and then another to use if they again made 15000 TC for Diamond.

If you earn 7 stars for the first time, you get both the $100 diamond dinner and 5 x $100 7 star dinners. If you already start the year as 7 stars, you would no longer get the diamond dinner.

Now the $100 folio credit I earned when I got my 40,000 aspiration level one year, I couldn't use because it expired on March 31st the very next year. I earned it one time close to the last day of the calendar year, but the $100 folio credit expired three months later at the end of March. For the regular diamond-level I achieved in fall 2014, I used my food credit this last October over a month ago. I achieved Diamond for 2015 just this last month in November.
