Some of my drinks have cost over $100, some were free, and some I even got paid to drink! :)

I know pints at Triple 7 are $1.75. I imagine most drinks are in the $2 - $4 range.

4Q has a decent selection of craft beer at Chicago Brewing Co. I can't give you a price range since ours are always comped, but nothing like the Strip. Banger Brewery, right on Fremont has some tasty selections. Price range of $4-$5.50 iirc and they also have a happy hour beginning at ~2 PM.

Main Street Station does have craft pints at the main casino bar for $1.75, but in the 777 they are around $4-5. At happy hour they drop to $2.50 between 3-6 and they have some good appetizer selections that are reasonably priced during happy hour.

I find this website to be a good place to start http://www.fremontstreetbars.com/

It's easy enough to pick up moderately priced beer downtown at gift shops and a most of the bars have specials. If you gamble drinks only cost a tip (typically a buck).

If you play the drinks are free, if you just walk up to most casino bars you will pay from $2 - maybe 4 or $5 for bottles, fremont east bars are higher but will have specials at certain times, you can buy bottles in the shops on freemont for $2 or less although you are not supposed to open and drink them on the FSE.

Forget worrying about the price of beer in vegas, never concerned me,and i am australian.we drink you poms under the table anyday.just gamble like you are supposed to do whilst there, the drinks will be free.however do not forget to tip the girls who serve them to you.then we will see the real cost of your beer (you want the pretty one to serve you, well sir up the tip).p.s. Don;t forget though,it"s their job and you really are not as good looking as they will make you feel you are.however make sure you enjoy yourselves.

You won't have to go too far for a good happy hour deal at the Four Queens, especially if you are looking for food too.

It says the beer is $1 off during happy hour. It might still be more than $2, but better than bottled deals elsewhere.

You can walk in to the ABC store (or any of the other stores that sell Beer/Booze on Fremont St)

    1245.jpg

and buy a can of beer (or Booze), then you can walk in to any casino on Fremont st and grab a plastic glass from the dispenser by the door, open the can of Beer/Booze and pour it in the plastic glass, throw away the empty Can/Bottle in the trash bin by the door.
Now you are Golden and can walk down Fremont street with your $2.50 Fosters or whatever Beer/Booze you like.

In no way is it like the original place we use to stop in for a few. It has turned into another yuppyized trap.

Didn't go this year, but have stayed at the Nugget in 12/13/14, and the prices are similar there to pubs in the UK.

I'd imagine that's the most expensive place to drink downtown, so you're never going to be doing badly when you're drinking DT.

Definitely not in comparison to the Mayfair prices we have to pay when we're at the Wynn etc.

Have a good trip, Dan
