We like to do things in advanced as opposed to last minute.
More than a month ago a Credit application was sent to Caesars for a Dec trip.
My wife has been calling weekly to which they reply that they are so swamped they are processing applications based on arrival date.
We aren't expecting any problems but if there were, our week before the trip is so busy there is a chance we won't have time to be running around straightening out any problems.
Any tips, tricks or contacts at Caesars to help expedite this process?

No real advice, LV. I think you are handling the situation correctly. I had a similar experience a couple years ago when I first set up a credit line there. I called every other day and two days before my trip, they got it finished and approved. Hope that provides some peace of mind

    Probably should be under GAMING.

Lots of posts there about casino credit.

How much are we talking about?

By the way, I get why they prioritize this. Too many people set up a trip, and then not come. And of course, they want more current data on you.

If you want them to process it quicker call them and let them you scheduled a trip for this weekend. They will process it by your "new trip arrival".

That is a good one but I suspect they would verify it.

I thought about it but wasn't as I have seen threads in both but you are right it would probably get more traffic from those who do it.

To them an insignificant amount and one that shouldn't be any issue.

It usually takes PH a week at most. We debated about verifying if the PH is still valid or its time to reapply and just do it through them.

Of course the convenience of getting it where one is staying is preferred.

They will not verify when you are actually arriving. They want to set you up with a line more than they don't, so even doing it in person when you get there should be very easy, as long as your history from PH is clean.

Do you have a host at CP? If you do, they should help speed things along.

They will not verify if you have a reservation or not. Caesars credit is centralized for all properties. No matter which property app you fill out the same office and people will do the approval.

Did you tell them that you do have a line of credit at PH?
I have a line at Harrahs and also Biloxi and called to get one at Ballys and it took about 2 days as they don't even contact your bank but just check your other lines from what they told me--so it is just a matter of paperwork

I asked about the amount as I found an easy way to have a line of credit. I can get $1,000 a day from my ATM for $6. No hassle at all. Of course, we travel with a couple thousand to get started. May not work for everyone of course.

Already checked. Nothing he can do.

If so, this is strange because PH has done it the past couple of times within the same week the information was submitted. If it were then why would Caesars be that far behind?

My wife will give it a try in another week or so when she calls back.
