Remember the discussion about the Fortune a few weeks ago and the relevance of TA?

That's why I come here for any and all my Vegas questions and suggestions. Anyway I'm booked there for Nov. 21st got a killer Groupon deal so I made an impulse booking

agreed, you can only find out so much about a place but good to have firsthand knowledge.

I heard about problem with Yelp and their reviews so I always take reviews with a grain of salt. also heard that some businesses will try to give "fake" reviews to make their place look better so best to try to get firsthand knowledge but sometimes that isn't possible.

We all have some buy in here, history, at least a modicum of accountability, which helps.

I visited a friend staying there several years ago (can't recall the exact year, but I was staying at MB and The Hotel tower was under construction). So my review may be dated, but I recall liking the place. The lighting was low, both in the public areas and the room. But the art gives it a different vibe

At one time (several years ago) The Artisan was a well know after-hours party spot and not for the teetotalers, as there was a lot of "activity" throughout the night. Possibly that's all changed or possibly that's just what you're looking for?
