As a big fan of Ellis Island--for the steak dinner special, $5 3:2 blackjack, video poker, and friendly staff--I was happy to notice just now that it seems that they've actually added a few more full-pay JoB quarter machines, including a few that have full-pay bonus deluxe. (Which is my choice when I'm looking to up the variance a bit--I can't go all the way to DDB...)

It looks like they must have moved some things around--for years, most of the FP JoB has been in the group of six slant machines right by the front door. I look forward to checking it out in just a few weeks!

Yeah, hopefully they keep it this way! Will motivate me to go back! Although it might take some effort to drag me away from the "quick quad" machines! And full pay "Shockwave", that's nearly unheard of!

Not all the machines at EI by the front door have the same pay tables. Look them over before you play.

Very true. But at least according to the info at the vpfree2 link (above), it looks like they're not even by the front door anymore. I wonder if they are the same machines (one has had a bad screen for a long time)?

Yes, they look like the same four old machines that used to be outside the Karaoke Lounge. Look for the machine numbers shown in vpFREE2.com. They are scattered in that bank.

Nice to hear good news for once on the VP front. Enjoyed Ellis Island when I visited in July and will definitely hit it up again.

Also happy that all my favorite VP machines at Aria were still there....

Ha, it's currently my biggest Vegas-related fear that they're going to downgrade the Lift Bar bartops, which are my favorite place to play.
