I may have barely missed the early hay-day of MyVegas comps, but I've always been able to find 3 or 4 rewards that I wanted to use before a Vegas trip. For my Trip tomorrow all I booked was $50 freeplay at Aria. I've already done the $10 and $25 freeplay there, so no more freeplay for Aria (and Mirage, the other place I stay). The $50 dining at Monte Carlo which I bought 3 times is gone. All the "free" drinks and food offers seem to be BOGO, except for some free buffets.....

Doesn't seem worth the time anymore. I know they've expanded to casinos off the strip, but who wants to drive to get a free buffet? And definitely not staying there. Anybody else feeling this way?

Yeah I feel the same way. I have around 700K gold thingies, and I don't know what I will every use them for. I am going to LAS for 3 nights in Feb.,sort of on a budget, so I thought maybe I'll stay at Excalibur just to add some levity to the trip by getting the $50 freeplay. But then, the gravity of staying at Excalibur... It's really annoying to have to be staying at an MGM property just for the damn buffet rewards, and the vanished Sensi cocktail will be missed. I will probably keep playing just in case I can snatch up one of these random awards like the helicopter one, but they sell out and then don't get restocked. Have the cirque VIP experiences EVER been restocked? Why even keep them up? It's all especially hard on the solo traveller too. In the end it might be better to just follow one's nose, and not spend time in MLife lines needlessly following a script. I have had a lot of awesome experiences with MyVegas, the weekend room at Aria being my crowning achievement. I've always defended the program, but if the November restock blows, I just don't know....:soapbox:

Since you're at Aria, hit up Vice Versa at Vdara for a BOGO drink or app. It's only good S-Th., but it's nearby and a decent bar.

Did you try to buy the other freeplays again? I have seen posts that people have been able to repurchase. The breakfast buffet at MGM is really good, IMHO. Plus if you are Pearl or higher you get to bypass the longer line.

Up until a few months ago I was able to purchase the freeplays at the Mirage for each trip---but not any more.
And its the same with the food rewards--once you use them thats it which makes no sense to me.
I have over 1,700,000 credits but nothing to use them on.
I think MyVegas is about done as it really makes no sense to play anymore with the way the rewards are

I agree with all of the above. I have all these coins and nothing worth a crap. My next trip is at Mirage and used a free night and $50 free play. I intend to gamble at the Venetian, and go back to staying there in the future. It was nice while it lasted. RIP MyVegas.

Yeah, tried to repurchase several times but it wouldn't let me. Done the MGM buffet, down for trying it again if they let me purchase again and I'm not required to stay there!

    I'm with you. I have 300K gold, DH 700K.
We are comped at CET so little to buy anymore.
Even a free drink isn't worth the time to redeem, imo (unless you don't gamble)
MGM a really good buffet? Average at best.
But we started playing about 6 mos. after it started...and have redeemed over $2K in rewards for a total investment of $58. So it was great while it lasted. Nice to get to see CDs shows & stay at Aria for free!!

They haven't replenished shit in 2 days since I have been watching. I am just trying to purchase buffets at Green Valley Ranch and Red Rock. Bullocks

Yeah, I'm done with MyVegas all together. I used a couple of buffets and free drink comps for my upcoming trip to the Beau Rivage, but after that I may uninstall it...The comps are almost as lame as my local casino, The Hard Rock here in Tampa...

Was hoping to get the Aria lunch or dinner for 2 for my upcoming trip in 3 weeks. Started checking over 3 months ago and have never seen either available even though I check when they reload. It's frustrating since there used to be such great value out of the app. Not so much anymore on the strip anyways. The London casino ones were fabulous when they first came out.

I miss the pairs of tickets to Cirque shows they used to offer. Makes it much more difficult to take my wife to a show for free with MGM. She has no interest in playing the game.

I don't believe they reload at any set time anymore. The Aria ones you mention were open a week ago at about 3:00 in the afternoon eastern time.

I went from playing, to only daily spinning and one strip harvest (and occasionally auto spinning my chips off for level ups), to not even playing at all.

Have about 450k lps to burn in January and until they update the comp nights no idea how I'll spend them. That will likely be the end of the game for me either way. May even do the 300k helicopter tour just as a way of getting SOMETHING.

It's basically just a coupon program these days. The only real reason to play is to have some fun playing "slots" while you aren't on vacation. I guess Vegas has recovered enough from the Great Recession that they don't need My Vegas anymore. It's a shame but it had to end sometime.

I must have horrible timing. No worries, still have 3 weeks to snag it.

I really miss the slice and beer at Five50. That was the last valuable item I redeemed. A few years ago there were so many great rewards, I remember one trip we had a nice dinner at the Luxor steakhouse, Diablos at Monte Carlo, and a buffet at the Mirage. Alas, all good things much come to an end... I probably have not even played MyVegas in 6 months and just logged in to see if there's anything worth redeeming for my trip next week, and couldn't find a single thing that interested me.

A few of the BOGO deals are not that bad, but nothing like they used to have.

I've also been reading in the Facebook groups that they are trying something new where rewards are visible to some players and not others. Not sure of the reasoning behind it, but it's being tried. Maybe they are doing a rolling thing to where less people are fighting over the same reward each day, thus increasing chances of getting a reward when it's visible to you. Doesn't make much sense to me, but the again, much of what they are doing doesn't always make sense to me.

Same here. I haven't logged in to spin in over a month. I have 500k gold but my last trip in September we stayed at Flamingo. We tried getting the buffet rewards but never could snag them. We ended up each getting a couple of smaller reward (free crepe, BOGO beer flights) but never made it to the hotel to use any of them. To us, it wasn't worth altering our plans to redeem a $10 reward. Our next trip is April and we will likely stay at an MGM property so hopefully we can use up some coins then. But I don't see any point in accumulating more.
