Someone in the fivehundy group came up with a good name for it. Paint it orange and call it the Orange Julius

Bout damn time! Roman is right off the casino floor, near the convention center, not all that far from the pool and relatively close to the front entrance. They should have hopped on this a long time ago.

Looks like they have done away with the bath tubs (at least the article & pictures do not include it). New restaurant too-Mr. Chow (not Leslie ;)wink). Anyone familiar with it?

Forum? poor views and two mile walk from check-in? Looks like Caesars won't have to discount the rooms at the Palace much anymore, have never had great offers at that property as I am a low roller. Just got four nights in Palace tower comped. Jumping on that as the offers might become even tighter

Looks awesome! Can't wait and Chow's will be the place to be seen with his LA/hollywood following. Gonna book my new years trip when I get back from my Halloween 2 week trip - LOL.

That's a lot of bluster coming from a company with incompetent management currently in Bankruptcy.

Forum because of the views or Palace because it's now the one that's gone the longest without a remodel. But honestly each tower will probably end up having one factor that will make it more appealing than the others to someone. And if you don't have to have the room that is the newest or the most exclusive, there should be a deal on something worthwhile.

Wouldn't comps for the palace tower become looser now? It's going from the third to the fourth ranked tower.

Side question....what is the square footage on Julius tower rooms going to be? Same as Roman I would assume. How will the towers rank based on room size?

Personally, since the Roman Tower will be no longer, all the remaining Caesar's Towers are great. I stayed in the Forum Tower and it was perfectly fine since the entire property is on point, like the Pools, Clubs, Restaurants, Shopping, Gambling, Sports Books, etc.
If CET lowered the price a little on my card, i would gladly book a Forum room again.

May have to stay there next trip--loved the Augustus tower rooms but just too long a walk to the casino

It's nice to see the remodel, but I don't think it jumps those rooms up in terms of "ranking" (although it may in price).

Roman/Julius: 350 - 395 SF (although they have some that are larger)
    Forum: 475 SF
Palace: I stayed in Palace Tower twice, they have two different room sizes, one was about 450 SF and the other was about 600 SF (and is called Deluxe).
    Augustus and Octavius: 650 SF

Caesars has completly jumbled up the room names and descriptions on their website, including mismatched pictures. It's a mess.

Good point, I wonder where CET will slot Julius in the hierarchy. I suppose we will know once rooms go on sale...

This is most likely why they changed the room designations this summer.

This may be an opportunity to have regularly comped Augustus/Octavius rooms?

I'm TR Platinum, and I just logged in and created hypothetical weekends to stay at Caesars next calendar year. I'm seeing (in ascending order):

    Forum
    Palace
    Julius
    NOBU
    Augustus/Octavius

This ignores their little Deluxe/Premium labeling and just focuses on the towers. Also, the towers can be a little jumbled up depending on the views, but for the most part the ranking I listed is the ranking I consistently saw.
