What's the biggest single number win you've had, i.e max bet on a single number that actually hit, AND, Did you leave with money at the end of the night?

Include story details if you like!!

last year I was on a roll actually winning...Im down for the night chasing money...betting $25 chips around $500-$1,000 per spin.

my favorite number is "27"...im down to a few hundred dollars plus my bets already placed...I have $100 straight up on #27 and $100 splitting #27/#30...I also go big on the surrounding numbers like #1, 00, #10, #13 ect

well, #27 hits, i win $5200...i was drinking, I couldnt press the straight up as the table was under $25 bet so it was $100 max at the time, I didnt add any around #27 though either.

I tip the dealer $100, put $1,100 out for the next spin, that includes the bet that just hit

#27 hits again, shocked and way up, I repeated what I just done...dont touch that bet, tip dealer and play $1,100

    #27 hits again...

im way up and happy, I decide to cash put...walked away with a few hundred over $15K

as im at the cashier which is right by the table I just left, #1 hits, I was playing $100 on it every spin, as im walking by leaving #1 hits back to back...could have made an extra $7K but I left way happy with my #27 hitting 3 times in a row

On my bday weekend at borgata, i was playing bacc in the high limit room. There is 1 single 0 roulette game in there. Decided to jump up and play one spin. The table players came with me to watch and i only played $400 straight on 29 (my bday) without any other bets. 29 hit for a 14k payout, the room felt like it had an earthquake when it hit. Couldnt believe it.

Hardly ever play roulette but after learning pay triples system, i might be playing more of it.

Did i leave with that money? No, donked it off on 2 hands of bacc but did leave a winner that weekend.

Hit straight up for like 30 on 17. I was way down and it kept me going for a little while longer.

Not a "big" win, but my biggest single number win: It was at the Flamingo on my second trip to Vegas in 2009. First time playing roulette, but had a hunch. First a bit of background. My dad went to Vegas pretty regularly, and he loved the Flamingo and roulette. (More on my dad in the "How I got started gambling" thread elsewhere on this board) He passed away in 1998, and I never had the chance to go to Vegas with him. Leading up to our trip in 2009, I had a hunch of playing his birthdate numbers (8, 29, 36), and I wanted to do this at the Flamingo. When we arrived, my wife was shocked that I wanted to play roulette, since I hadn't even shared my hunch with her, and I usually only play blackjack. I bought in for $30, and proceeded to put $5 on each of his birthdate numbers. Didn't hit. Put my remaining $15 on the same numbers, and this time 36 hit. $175 payout! Looked up, thanked my Dad, took the money and ran! Wanted so bad to take those winnings and play some blackjack, but all of the tables were 6:5, so left with my winnings.

Ive hit twice with a green chip out on 23. $875 both times. I dont think I could play more $$ than that on a single number.

I have played the game maybe 5 times, ever.
this is not a "big money story" for roulette players i'm sure.

one night @ GG my favorite dealer was @ roulette table alone. she said "i know it's not your game but come play".
Me: "one time, one number. pick my number"
    her: 7 and 23
    Me: no, just one number.
    her: 7
    me: OK. $5 on 7

7 hits! I proceed to put $5 on 23 and it hits! pocketed ~350 or so on a couple of spins and walked away (less tips of course).

    WOW, that's a dream hit!

My biggest is still $5 for $175 which I've hit several times, one time it was using a $5 "Win Card" promotional chip at NYNY, so that was nice I guess. I've definitely put more down on a single number, but have never hit any of those. All the local casinos have a $50 max on a straight up number.

Thnx, it really was since I never really play roulette. It was just a hunch.

Played a bit with pt and he showed me how he plays with his system. The way he plays makes sense and I will be playing more roulette myself.

Not a biggest bet story since I do not play roulette.
But I did Once and here is how it went down.
We had reservations at Ramsay Steak inside Paris
Was myself, my wife, my very well behaved 5 year old at the time and my best friend from Detroit who usually meets up with me once a year for our Vegas trip.

    Reservations were for 9:30 PM
scantly clad mater-die girls tell me its going to have to be 10:15 PM
    Okay
then idiot security guard comes up and says no kids on the casino floor
I say we are waiting for our reservations
He says carpet area is part of casino floor
Okay FU whatever, didnt say that but really wanted to
My wife said we are just gonna walk around for a 20 minutes

I spot a Roulette wheel and as I see my daughter walking away
I think of her Birthday 10/08
Dont know why I thought of it, but I did
Walked over with a fresh crisp 100 bill and said
    Give me 50 on 10 and 50 on 10
    He spins the wheel
and it lands on 10 YES YES YES.
    $1,750 -50
    tipped the dealer 100
then I covered the 1,100 dollar meal and tip
Yes we all had Kobe Steak at 30 dollars an Ounce + Side dishes and a 200 bottle of Red Merlot

March 2010, solo trip at Flamingo....down my $3,000 bankroll on the final Sunday AM. Hit the POS Debit for $1,000 to place 5 $200 Masters bets.

Walk into Palazzo sports book and go to place bets, the guy gives me heads up that Dustin Johnson is better odds at Wynn.

I decide to take Palazzo sheet, head to Wynn, compare and bet accordingly. Walking thru Pallazzo floor with $1,000.

See that corner light up roulette table. Better entire $1,000 on my usual numbers, a spread which places the table max of $200 on #17.....

    BOOM Baby!!!!

The ball actually was down low spinning and caught the 17 edge bounced hard up of the top and stuck right back down in the 17...was amazing.

Cashed out and left. Bigger hit for $8,700 at Bellagio once but this was most dramatic.

Saw this board at MGM yesterday. I wonder if someone crushed it betting on 11.

:faint: wow...11 is my main number and I usually do a couple hit and run spins at about $50-$60 each...with my typical betting I would've walked with about 5k from that run! Probably more pressing after spin 2 and definitely after 3

We were playing at Bally's and I'd had a few cocktails. After about an hour or so I was getting "tired". Rather than cash out and walk the 10 feet to the casino cage I took my last fifty odd dollars and decided to put it on 27. Before I did, for no reason at all, i asked the dealer what his mother's birthday was. He tells me the 19th, also my b-day, so i changed it up and tell him if it hits I'll split it with him. Boom, 19 comes out. True to my word (mostly), I tipped the guy $900 or so and I kept a grand. Woke up the next day and asked the wife if that really happened, she just laughed. Biggest roulette win and biggest tip all in one.
