Who do you think will be the one to bite the bullet and pay even money on blackjack? I'm thinking CET would do it on their $5 games at places like O'sheas where most players are too drunk or don't know enough to care.

6/5 might as well be even money,

    but it's less obvious.

and they're still testing these waters and have been doing so for years.

even money is nowhere even remotely on the horizon in Vegas.

I don't think it would work, but Im not a big BJ fan. Only when I am drunk and too out of it to be concerned with the payouts in general..lol

I've seen $5 tables paying even money at Monte Carlo numerous times over the past year. They're right when you get out of the pathway from Aria, past the Pub near the food court.

They had it here on the riverboats, and they aren't allowed to call it Blackjack, so they call it "Super Fun 21"

I've seen those tables. I was thinking they were just tables where you can't get rated. Maybe I'm confusing that with the tables the D used to have upstairs by Vue Bar. I'll double check those tables next Saturday at Monte Carlo if I don't drink too much during the lsu game. The alumni association meets at The Pub.

Super stoked. Only 3 more work days......we will be cross street neighbors. Will probably end up at Paris or Ph for $5 3card poker.

Amazing that anyone would pay even on BJ. But then I thought the same about 6/5.
My "local", a casino boat that sails out past the three mile limit has the best BJ rules I have recently seen in the US. 3/2, dealer stands on soft 17, DAS, Insurance pays 2-1. I sailed on it 26 Sept and all the $5 and $10 tables were full with just a few open spots at the $25.

Sahara toward the end was paying even money on Blackjack at the $1 table unless you were betting $5. Don't recall if it went to 6/5 or 3/2 if you had $5 bet..the even money part was hidden in the fine print at the table..
