For those members who've been to Vegas many times, are there any Hotel/Casinos that you've never visited yet on the Strip?

For me, it's the Stratosphere and SLS on the North side and Tropicana on the South side.

Why? Well, The STRAT and SLS are so far north and isolated. And the Trop? It looks boring...not sure if it's worth the time.

How about you? Any places on the Strip you haven't visited yet? Why?

Hooters (it's sorta kinda almost on the Strip), Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons - I think that's it.

Floors 35-39 of the Mandalay tower. It does have it's "own" entry, spa, pool, eats, but indeed not a casino. That would be like breaking out the various towers at Caesars or elsewhere.

Circus circus ... its on its own and a family place ... not even particularly close to the monorail.

Of the currently in existence places on the strip proper, I think that is my only non-visit.

Ignoring name changes IP to Linq, Sahara to SLS etc, we have been to every casino on the Strip and even Hooters, under the old name, but I have already forgotten that name.

Somebody mentioned Mandarin Oriental. If that is a casino, I have never been there.

I've been to them all -- even Aztec Inn.

I've also done a "Casino Walk" -- all on the Strip in one shot -- under the terms I've outlined at my humble site, http://vegas-casino-walk.net/ Did it in 2 hours, 50 minutes.

I've been to Rio as well, but off the Strip that's it. Also all Downtown except El Cortez. Downtown Grand wasn't open last time I was there.

Only the Trop, Monte Carlo, Cosmo, Aria & MGM... but I also haven't been to Linq, Cromwell, the new O'Sheas, or SLS - not since their name changes.

    I have been to:
    Castaways
    Marina
    Silver Slipper
    Silver City
    Dunes
    Sands
    Aladdin
    Stardust
    Frontier
    Riviera
    Desert Inn
    Landmark
    Vegas World
    Westward Ho
    the "old" MGM (now Bally's)
    Barbary Coast & Bill's

No SLS - as far as the strip is concerned.

(this might bet better response under "Strip Hotels" sub-forum.

Just Strat and SLS in terms of Casinos....

Was at Sahara so if that counts as SLS, Stratosphere is the only 1.

Strat, Hooters, CC, Tropicana, Mirage and TI.

Strat and CC are locations i'm not walking to and i'm just not that interested.

Hooters and Tropicana look boring and just nothing i'm going out of my way to see.

I've only been to Vegas twice and sadly my last trip we didn't get a chance to walk into Mirage and TI.

5 trips so far and been in all the casinos on strip and downtown, also Hard Rock, Terribles, Ellis, Rio, Palms, Gold Coast - not done any locals or further afield as we never have a car but I love wondering from casino to casino, drink(s) in hand and, if we like it, stay for a while, if it's boring or we don't get the vibe, we just move on! Do it all again soon......

Are we really counting Hooters (or Hard Rock, for that matter), as being "strip casinos"?. If so, then I'd have to add them to my list of not-visited properties.

Have not been to and probably won't ever try:
    Linq
    Cromwell
    SLS
Have hit all the other strip casinos over the past 15 years

If... if hooters is being counted... then I have not been but IMO no it does not and should not. I would have an issue with priceline or hotwire if I booked strip and that is what I got!

I have never been in Circus Circus, Hooters, Vdara, Mandarin Oriental or the new SLS.

SLS, Circus Circus & Hooters because of location, Vdara and Mandarin Oriental because of no casino.

Hooters used to be the Hotel San Remo. They had some decent blackjack games a long time ago....

Casino hotels I've never been to are MB. Luxor, Excal, nuTrop, Sahara/SLS and the Strat. I may try and knock one out this trip.

I've been to Sahara but not SLS. I've been to IP and The Quad but not The Linq yet. I think the only strip place I've never set foot in is Circus Circus (and Riv if that still counts). I've never found a reason compelling enough to make the trip out there. I know the steakhouse is supposed to be excellent. But there are dozens of excellent steak joints on the strip that don't require a cab ride...or subjecting myself to CC.
