I'd like to know your favorite places to play limit hold'em games in Vegas. Please share. I'm mainly looking for 3-6 or 4-8. I'd appreciate it if you could share why it's your favorite as well. Much thanks.

If I'm playing just for fun then the $2-$6 spread limit game at Monte Carlo is where it's at. My friend who used to play LHE professionally (20/40 - 30/60) always liked the South Point.

For 3/6 I would suggest the Mirage ( best drink service plus variuos promos forthose who like promos and 2hr comp rate) Ballys and Orleans. For 4/8 I would suggest the Bellagio (simple with no bells and whistles I.e. high hands..bad beats. Equals low rake) Red Rock (half kill) and Wynn. I'm strictly LLHE player and all of these rooms I have played in multiple times. Mirage is favorite hands down!

venetian is my favorite limit place on the strip by far. 4-8. I believe it is usually a good game because its the lowest level Venetian offers, so the player that might normally be at 2-4 or 3-6, is now playing 4-8. I have played here 10+ times during various vacations and at least half the people at the table were playing any two cards and just drinking it up and having fun.

I try to do the same in regards to drinking, but still maintain a good limit game. (not playing every hand, paying attention to what is going on, etc).

i tried the 4-8 omaha hi-lo and it was not a pleasant group. very grumpy!!!!

That's most omaha8 games everywhere in the country. It's too bad. I like the game. I'm usually the youngest playing by 20 years though.

Never played 4-8 in Vegas, but for 3-6 I like Mirage. If I get super wasted I play 2-4 at Flamingo so I can stretch 100 dollars without having to worry about playing my top game. Keeps the drinks flowing and the fun popping. The rake is crazy high at Flamingo, so I wouldn't play there looking to turn a profit.

My experience at the V 4/8 is that is fairly aggressive with quite a few regulars. Most of the gamblers/fish have gone o to other games sadly :(

I have found Bellagio 4/8 a little better. An yes Mirage 3/6 can be fun.

Has anyone got experience at Orleans 4/8? I have never played there, assuming it's locals and fairly nitty?

I have played several times at Red Rock $4/$8 game. Nice room I also recommend the V or Mirage.

I also think the Mirage 3-6 game is the best low limit game on the Strip

3/6 at the Mirage and the 4/8 at the Venetian.

I enjoyed the 1-3 game at Wynn thoroughly. It was a mixture of amateur and serious regulars. Good drink waitresses who were quick to get you your drinks (+good looking). Also wait is not that long depending on time of day.

I like Monte Carlo... Small room and I've seen the same dealers for about 5+ years. Just feels really comfortable to me. Smaller room makes for better drink service as well.

Thanks also for the pointers. I will be staying near the Monte Carlo so that sounds like a good bet. I am glad people still enjoy limit. It can be quite fun and more relaxing then the 1-2 NL to which the vast majority of players seem to flock. I read on the PokerAtlas that Excaliber also has 2-6 Spread game, but since no one mentioned it perhaps it doesn't run very often?

Get the Bravo app, it will show every game running and wait lists, very helpful when you are there.
