Ballys- which room?

Hi everyone visiting for the first time for my sisters wedding in April we will be booking Ballys but was wondering what was better option indigo or jubilee? Has one recently been renovated?
Does jubilee have better access to the strip we will have one wheelchair user with us

having stayed at Ballys 3 time - stayed in both and Jubilee is much better access however neither elevator close to the entrances in my opinion

 

Jubilee is the newer remodeled rooms. They are really nice and comfortable and they are at the South end of the property. They are closer to the strip. The older Indigo rooms are larger and considered the North tower.

You may want to contact the property. I stayed in the South Tower in one of the Jubilee rooms and recall someone having a hard time getting a wheel chair up the couple of steps out of the Casino. I believe you may have to talk the long way around which would make staying in the North tower just as convenient. I am just assuming/guessing as I have not paid much attention to this sort of thing.

 

I'm not for sure, cause my old ass can't remember as well as before, but I seem to recall a wheelchair ramp on the left side as you come out of the casino to the south exit.

 

I have stayed at the North Tower (Indigo), and the South Tower (Jubilee) and i like the Jubilee rooms better (just came back in June). The Jubilee rooms have Coffee makers, Fridges, and walk in showers and well as roll in showers. I don't use a wheelchair or even a cane, but sometimes i need a rail to hold on, like elevators, escalators, etc because of my stroke, so i am aware of these things. But Bally's has accessible rooms for wheelchairs which include roll-in shower, at least i know the Jubilee rooms do.

 

Thanks everyone for advice- I think we will opt for jubilee. Is it worth getting a strip view? Do you get a really awful room if not? Or is it worth doing the $20 trick at check in?

 

I wouldn't bother. That is personal opinion though, we have always had a good view from our Jubilee rooms.

 

Yeah there is a ramp...it's sorta hidden and out of the way, but it's there.

Rooms are nice, but we had terrible luck with elevators and room noise when we stayed there.

 

Ask for a Paris view. It gives you a partial view of the fountains and all the way up the strip. The nice thing about ballys is that it is connected to Paris so to get to PHO is easier than going out the front by the new shops there.

 

I would try and get a higher floor because that bank of elevators (there are two banks) is the express, rooms 63--73. My room was facing North, which was 6604 facing Cromwell. The South rooms face Paris at odd #'s. So with the $20 try and get a higher floor which zips you up quickly.

 

Well yeah go jubilee.....nothing wrong with it, nice view on Paris and in the back you also can see the fountains
As a normal room jubilee is comfy......( has indeed fridge, first stay i even had two lol..and it has a safe).....
