I have never put one cent into playing MyVegas. We will be in Vegas August 9-15. I used my points to pick up two tickets to Zumanity for $50 total/tickets reserved and assigned, as well as two for one dinner buffets at the Aria and Bellagio. Not bad for playing an enjoyable game, and I've never seen discounts/coupons for buffets at either of these resorts.

Of course, I love myVEGAS as well. However I am pretty disappointed in myself that I got so messed up in Vegas at Encore Beach Club that we never made it to use our tickets to see Zumanity. I guess we're going to see it in another visit. Darnit. Be sure to tell me what you think of the show. For our next trip in August, me and my boyfriend have combined rewards of the Monte Carlo $50 dining credit, the 2 for 1 alcoholic milk shakes, the Zarkana and Carrot Top companion tickets (we got front and center row for Carrot Top! Awesome!) and entry to the Minus 5 Ice Bar for 2.

I'll let you know about Zumainty. We have seen all the Cirque shows with the exception of this one. Sounds like you scored some nice rewards. We saw Carrot Top last year, third row center, and it was one of the best comedy shows we've ever seen. I don't know why he didn't see him sooner. We are also seeing Boys To Men, Raiding the Rock Vault and Gordie Brown, who we've seen before.....also, very funny and entertaining.

Unfortunately, all the good rewards are gone or requires a stay. Personally speaking I do not like many of the MGM properties besides Aria or Bellagio (or MGM sometimes...).. I much prefer to stay at Wynncore or Cosmo. (Aria being nearly on top as well)

That being said, I did redeem two tickets for LOVE between my girlfriend and myself and I'm looking forward to it. I've also redeemed a pass to the Siegfried secret garden but I still need to earn enough on my girlfriends account to get one for her as well. Other then that, I don't really se anything else worth using the LPs on. Before I used the LPs for 2 tickets to Shark Reefs on one account (which they no longer offer and makes life a lot more difficult for non-players and their playing SOs), $50 free play, and a free room and 2 tix to Fantasy at BOGO. I think that trip was worth the time spent earning the LPs as oppose to now where I can barely find anything worth going out of my way to go to when in Vegas.

I am grateful for saving $250~ though on the LOVE Tix + Siegfred Secret Garden so far this trip in August for playing a free game. I don't think I would ever spend a dollar on this game.

It would be nice if PS would implement gifting LPs to others.

There are so many of us players who have an abundance of LPs and will never redeem them all, mainly due to the decline in rewards.

look, you're always going to find many differing opinions on the subject of MyVegas.
some of the rewards were absolutely fantastic when the game first came out- in 2013, I had 3 nights in a Mirage Tower Suite, free premium show tickets for Ka and Love, dining credits at NYNY and Monte Carlo. I used all those rewards in one trip, and got them all for probably under 250K LPs.

obviously, those rewards aren't available anymore, and a lot of people these days feel like the rewards really aren't worth much any more (and to be fair, most of the rewards are of the BOGO variety).
I myself tend to agree with the idea that the rewards kind of suck these days, but at the same time, I've also started to look at it a little differently- we've booked an extra night in Vegas, using a room reward, bowling and drink rewards, and buffet rewards at Red Rock.

MyVegas is not what it used to be, far from it, and the value VS the time spent playing the game is fairly low, but it is what it is, and I'm gonna keep playing regardless, because what else am I gonna do sitting in front of the television killing time??

This. I also do surveys and am an Amazon Turk, as well as playing myVegas. So as much as I love reading and playing with my kids and everything else, I still have idle time. I'm not doing anything that takes a ton of effort, so anything I get out of that time is a plus. MyVegas can spin in the background on the phone and on FB while I'm turking. Easy as pie.

I agree with both of you. I get maybe 4 to 5 hours of sleep a night, if lucky. Rather than turn on the TV and wake up the wife I play MyVegas and surf the web.....now that I found this site, I'll be on here late at night, EST.

I think like most people who plays this game, I just run it in the background during work 9-5 and collect whatever free chips I can. Especially when its slow, its a good time killer. I also have it on my mobile app under my girlfriends account to earn points for her to get her own passes, but I'll probably delete it after this upcoming trip since the mobile app is kind of a killer on my phone and takes way too much time.

If I go broke in the beginning then I won't be playing it much throughout the day. I usually hope I can go on a row and win up to 200-300k in chips through blackjack before I let it ride in slots until I go broke. Usually generating roughly 1000 LPs or so daily if I'm lucky.

Nice job, scc. If you can generate that kind of payback you're a winner.

Well, it comes and goes. I think the fun part is when I win big big bonuses. But I also wager a lot. So sometimes I can win like 60LP max vs 1000LP. Probably average 250-500LP is more realistic now that I think about it.

Thanks for response...are you staying at the NYNY? We always valet park there when we hit the casinos on that end of the strip. Very easy in and out. We stayed there once and won a nice jackpot. Good luck and enjoy your trip.

Yes we are staying at NYNY, first time there. We always seem to spend a lot of time at that end of the strip so we thought we would try it.

My Vegas saved us hundreds of dollars on the trip we just took. We got free tickets to KA and Zarkana, free admittance to Siegfried and Roy's Secret Garden, and free single ride monorail passes. I'm disappointed that the Monorail passes are gone now, but we did get extras that are good for a year from the printed date.

Great job! Did you enjoy KA and Zarkana? I saw both years ago. My favorite cirque show is O. We saw MJ One last year and for me it didn't live up to the hype.

KA is an absolutely amazing show. We enjoyed it so much. I'm hoping we can see it again the next time we go to Vegas.

This was our second time seeing Zarkana and they changed most of the show from what it was two years ago. We didn't really like the changes, because it is no longer the interesting, dark-themed show it was. Now it's mostly about the clowns and the characters speak in English now, which really takes us out of a Cirque show.

It was free, though, so no complaints!

Just as a warning for those of you who are indicating that you play for someone else - it is against the terms & conditions of the game and they do cancel accounts if they feel people are playing on multiple accounts. A couple of my FB friends no longer play because that has happened. And every month or so on the various FB groups for the game you will see a post saying 'I just got an error code 0 - why? I know other people that do it & haven't been caught yet, however I would hesitate in 'advertising' it in a public group just in case.

    Easter again..:
