So I'm watching tonight's Diner's, Drive-Ins and Dives and apparently there's a killer restaurant inside the Eureka Casino on Sahara about 5 blocks east of the Strip. Anyone been in this place? It's a block shy of the Commercial Center. I've driven by this joint a million times and never thought there might be a redeeming reason to enter. According to Guy Fieri, the Fat Choy is worth the visit. I'm asking about the casino and the restaurant... not weather you care for Guy Fieri... we've seen those threads.

Crap, Guy went there? Food is awesome and as others mentioned they have an ACG coupon as well as LVA. It'll probably be gone next year.

That looks fantastic. I'm a sucker for good duck bao -- the only option I've found in the mid-Strip area is the duck buns at Todd English Pub, and those are definitely not optimal. The pork belly buns look good, too, but not better than the ones David Chang does at Momofuku.

The bao and potstickers are my favorite. My husband loves the burger. They run daily specials which are usually pretty good. It's worth a visit. I was happy to see them get some exposure on DDD. Service used to be horrid, but it's improved over time.

Fat Choy sounds like a palce we would like to try, BUT - we would like to get in some video poker while there. We usually don't go to a place just to eat. Does anyone know about the vp games offered there?

Thanks PP. I know all too well how plans go awry. I'll take you up on your offer.

Good food definitely makes a trip much more pleasurable. However eating rich hotel food everyday get to be too much. Need to find the hidden gems outside.

You got it. We can definitely go. Natedog and I got to Chinatown for Korean so we can do Fat Choy. dim sum or korean if you want. Sometimes it fun to just get out and try something different. My wife likes Yun Nan Garden in china town so when she goes I make a stop there for a meal with her.

Its good to take a break from the Casino food for some comfort food. The Casino food is not always the best. There are hidden gems all over Vegas.
