MyVegas FreePlay - not on a comp stay?

I just noticed on the $50 FreePay reward it says you can't use it if staying on an Mlife comp. But I know I've used the $25 and $10 when staying on comps. Is this only for the $50 reward or do they just not enforce it?

 

I just checked my wife's reward she purchased on 7/15 for $50 FP at Aria. No such condition on that reward, so this might be new.

 

It's deep in the terms, not on the front page where it says it requires a 3 night stay. The specific one is for MB.

 

This was discussed on another forum. So far, only the MB has that restriction on it. I have redeemed at Bellagio with no problem while on a comp. Have purchased the $50 and $25 for my October MGM Grand Stay.

 

I got the $50 for my MB visit in September - I'm paying discounted rates, but no nights are comped so I don't expect any issue redeeming it.

 

I'm staying at Mandalay Bay in October on a comp but not through myVegas.. my understanding of the rules at MB only are I cannot use the myVEGAS reward (any of the Freeplay ones) at MB. That sucks, but I can't argue with a 3 night comp and $100 in resort credit!

 

Yeah I'm in the same boat for next month. Got the $50 FreePlay reward but staying on a heavily discounted rate... So we'll see if they let me use it.

 

My stay is over Labor Day weekend - the rates I got were $19 (Friday), $113 (Saturday), and $19 (Sunday). If they tell me I can't use my reward then I'm finding a host & telling them that at least one of those nights better not show up on my bill at checkout lol

 

I have used both the $25 and $50 freeplay at the Mirage on a comped stay without any problem

 

Yup, I have the same rates, two 3 day trips with the $19 a night rate. I'll let ya know how it goes.

 

Awesome. I just got an email offer to upgrade to Delano for $20 a night, which could throw an additional wrinkle into redeeming the freeplay reward haha.

I never get these upgrade emails!!! For $20 a night it's well worth it. I've redeemed FreePlay in the past while staying at Delano, but I wasn't staying on an offer or comp at the time.

 

I'm on the fence about upgrading since I don't anticipate spending much time in the room, but having a buddy to split it with makes me think I'll probably go for it. I'm optimistic they'd still give me the freeplay but who knows

 

One perk is access to the Delano Beach Club, pretty chill area. Also having two bathrooms makes getting ready to go out a bit easier.

 

I was able to use my $50 FreePlay without any issues. Turned it into $57 cash... wooo!

I ran it through a $1 (max 2 credits) machine pretty close to MJ box office. Was able to get $25 out of it and then I went over to a Quick Hits Cash Wheel, hit a bonus, and cashed out. Worked out fairly well.

 

Just got back from a stay at Mandalay Bay - we had one night comp through my Vegas and paid for 2 nights on a package. I was able to redeem one $10 and one $25 free play with no problem.

 

Do you have to stay 5 nights to use both $25 & $50, or is 3 nights enough?

Got the 50 one nt and went back the next night and got the 25--no problems at all
