Mirage getting a piano bar and other casino renovations?

Anyone know the status or progress of the new piano bar going into the space vacated by the HL slot room at the Mirage? Any pics if it's been completed?

When we were there 4th of July, a portion of the casino floor was under renovation; HL slots moved to back wall to its original location. The old HL slots area was torn up. Was told a piano bar was going into that area along with additional slot changes. Too bad they can't change the low ceilings - a new bright paint job on the ceiling and some chandeliers would do wonders to spruce up the tired dark look of those ceilings.

I like the improvements so far - table games have been rearranged into better locations and the new Cashiers cage is spiffy looking. Looking forward to the changes as we like to play slots here.

 

CPK will also undergo renovations and will be closed Aug 10- Sept1

 

I was at the Mirage the same time you were. The dealers seemed to think the center bar will not be completed for awhile.

 

Thanks Sindustry for that info. Back to Vegas in November, hope to see it finished by then. July was an unusual loss for me at Mirage - dug a hole early, and never made it out. Hope Mirage treated you better...

Thanks Georgienba for the info. CPK's salads are a meal by themselves and hit the spot for me when I take a break from slots...

 

I know Japonais was also supposed to close for renovations/new restaurant- is still open?
