I realize that this has been brought up before, but a 'sticky' for something like this would be really handy.

Folks could simply post what they encounter... much like is done in VP threads, where members will go into great detail about the location of specific machines, the same could be done with blackjack... an example? You bet:

LVC - there is a single table that is a two-deck shoe, 3:2, H17, DAS permitted @ $10 minimum. Seems to always be open.

    or

Mirage - the $25 two-deck pitch game is still open. 3:2, S17, DAS, but beware - they watch every play closely. Lots of scrutiny.

People could add to the thread as they encounter changing conditions, such as the recent return of 3:2 to DTG.

    Just a thought...

I'm new to VMB... But this is exactly the type of thing I'd love to see.

I would like this too. I was planning on asking what has been recently seen about a week before my next trip if we had a sticky where you could just post what was available after you recently played that would be awesome.

+1. This subject would be great for a sticky thread.

This would be a great idea. The Wizard of Vegas has something like this but it is not always current. Here is the link for it, Blackjack survey.

I think all double deck games on the strip are now out of a little shoe...

This would be a great idea. This would save some people some time trying to find a good blackjack game. Since MGM Grand downgraded their bj, i know in a couple of weeks at nights I'm going to have to scout out some good games instead of just staying at home base to play.

Just spoke to some dealers at Aria and Bellagio and, as of July 2, they are moving some percentage of their games to 6/5. This is to be a company wide policy at all MGM casinos in Vegas. Those that spoke of the rule change seemed fairly upset by it and blame it on Ceasars for jumping the gun first.

    nice

    Great Idea Topcard!

    Might also help newer players,
to look at the felt & steer away from 6/5!

Disappointing to hear as I'm staying at two MGM properties soon! I'd sooner not gamble than throw money at 6/5. I'm guessing they will still have 3/2 at higher limits.

Really hate to see this. Will be interesting to see if it turns out to be true and how far they go with the 6:5 plague. Was really hoping Aria would continue to buck the trend. They can blame it on CET for starting the 6:5 tables - but the trend at MGM right now is to expand 6:5 and if anything CET is going the other way. Outside of Aria and Bellagio (to this point) on my last few trips I have thought playable blackjack was easier to find at CET properties than MGM - and easier at CET now than it was a couple years ago.

This concept might be a make a good app, kind of like gas buddies for BJ conditions.

Agreed. I've been able to find $10 3:2 games at Bally's and Paris pretty consistently, at least during the day and early evening. I was (am?) really looking forward to lots of sessions at the $10 3:2 tables at Bellagio in less than a week... CSM, yes, but still not bad and a great place to play. I've got a bad feeling that those tables will become 6:5.

    As of 6/29/15
Boyd casinos downtown... no change...2-deck pitch, 3:2 H17, no DAS... but plenty of $5 & $10 minimum tables.
4-Queens... 2-deck shoe... same rules as Boyd...$15 minimum.
'theD'. - no 2-deck game at all.
    'Golden Gate' - 2-deck shoe, 3:2, H17, DAS allowed - $25 minimum - only open at night.
Plaza - same as Golden Gate, only a $25 minimum & only open at night.
LVC - same as Golden Gate with a $10 minimum...open at 10AM...maybe...2 mornings it was...one morning it wasn't...no explanation when I asked.
El Cortez - Same rules - 2-deck shoe, 3:2 H17, DAS permitted... 1 table open all the time (non-smoking). Other tables open at noon. All $5 & $10 minimums.

I meant to check out DTG again to confirm the 3:2 double-deck status, but I never did...sorry.

Thanks, topper - I'll check out the DTG in a couple weeks and report conditions there. BTW - that non-smoking 2-deck game at El Cortez is my favorite table in all of Las Vegas....
