    My Trip Report

    Would I? Should I? Could I?

Blonde4Ever was planning another Spring trip.

She asked me to be her ROOMIE again.

She wanted to stay the longest time she had ever spent in Las Vegas.

BUT...since she was retired, and not as well endowed (we're talking money here people: retiring does not ALWAYS lead to drastic body deterioration), she needed someone who had done some budget trips in the past, to guide (and perhaps discipline! ) her.

Was I up to the challenge?

Was my room going to be free?

Did she have lots of 2/1 food coupons to share?

    Check!

Follow along with us......if you have a free weekend to waste looking at photos of Vegas, and reading my rambling, long winded dialogue....

... as two VegasNuts do half as much as they used to.... and take twice as long to do it!

Hi kodidog! I would love to read your trip report. I read Blonde4Ever's report and enjoyed it immensely.

But for some reason I can't access your report. Says something went wrong. Whatever that means, lol!

The first link wasn't working because I sent it to her thru Facebook...which apparently alters everything...

"Our time at the Plaza was coming to an end. No more free WIFI, and no more ….wait for it! FREE bottles of water each day in the room! I saved this as a surprise for you all, holding in the joy that I felt each and every day, when we returned to our room after housekeeping had been in."

I felt your joy! The El Cortez does the same and it's always a joy to see those water bottles. Small detail that means so much.

This is a great trip report Kodi, full of lots of details and pictures. You have some really interesting shots but I especially loved that picture you took outside the Plaza with all the cars and lights.

Thanks for writing it up and posting all the pics!

I was off from work today so I read your whole trip report! Very entertaining and detailed. Enjoyed it very much. Both of you seem to do Vegas great together. Wishing both of you many more trips together (for selfish reasons, I enjoy both of your trip reports, lol!). j/k :poke:

Thanks for the great report and taking the time and effort to share it with us!

ELECTROGUY: Glad you finally were able to access the report. I hope that reading it on your day off, did not interfere with all of the chores you had planned to do. I realize now that I left SO much out of the story. It seems to take a few WEEKS for the Vegas fog to lift from my brain. I guess I'd better wait longer to write my report the next time, and make it longer, and more accurate. ;-)

GAMBLER: I knew that there were others that would be as excited as me about the water thing. So fundamental, I'd think. Help to keep your guests hydrated, and they will be less likely to fall on the bed to recover from the stresses of partying, and more likely to grab a few gulps and get back down to the casino!

    Great trip. Great trip report.

Enjoyed it. My wife began reading a 200 page book when I started the report. She had finished her book before I finished the report.

    Just talking, of course.

Thanks for taking the tremendous amount of time it must have taken.

    Don

LOL@ Don! I know that I had 87 pages on my word document BEFORE I added the photos, (but it was large print, whine...) so you probably read a few more pages than her! Thanks for reading and commenting. When the lady with the whip (Blonde4ever) insists that we do trip reports, I fret and complain for a while. I am in agony (and am frequently threatened with divorce) while I am writing one, but after it is completed, I enjoy looking back. Just wish that as I age, I did not forget so much until after I post them...sigh.

Very nice, extensive report. All I can say is how could you drink what they call coffee at the Omaha bar at Plaza? I gave up and just walked to Mickey D's everyday we were there. That bar coffee is some nasty instant sh*t.

Thanks for taking the time to comment, Joe. I think that having our ears talked off, numbed us to the bad coffee.

    Besides, I had mine "double-double"!

It tasted good to me. Maybe they improved it?
Or maybe I just have really low standards...lol

I read your trip report and your roomies. Loved them both and really enjoyed both the reports and the pictures. I know the TR take a lot of time but for a moment we are in Vegas with you and that makes us smile!

Thanks, Lady and Cowboy. I appreciate both the 'read' and the comments. I, like you often find myself wandering all around Vegas with someone I don't know, LOL...when they are describing exactly where I WANT to be, ha hah. I also enjoy looking at photos in TRs and remembering that I stood RIGHT THERE, at one time. ;-)
