    That's a fun read.

I did not know that concierges were outsourced. I never use them and I am surprised they still exits to be honest because it is so easy for people to book their own meals, shows and excursions nowadays.

The mixed drinks thing I have always been suspicious of. I am a beer drinker 99% of the time so I don't have much experience to say whether they have ever done it to mine. If I do order one its a rum based punch type drink.

That stuff's rather evergreen -- and many/most apply to every other popular vacay venue -- but sometimes a good reminder of the basics is helpful.

Not all hotels do it but I know at least one major chain has outsourced almost all concierge operations to the same external supplier.

And the "concierge" as conceived and practiced in Vegas ain't nothing like it is elsewhere. If you need something in Vegas, see your host.

Interesting read. Does tipping your cocktail waitress extra for that specific liquor actually do anything? I guess I'm not picky anyway, but that sucks

Thought of one ... Lie #12: Your casino and host really really really like you simply for your stellar, bubbly self.

Not just Vegas but all hotels - - at a large sit down event like a wedding all the coffee is decaf.

True but there is a lot of leeway in the VIP rooms. But yes, if you are looking for sex then the VIP room probably isn't the best or cheapest place for it. But then many girls will probably go elsewhere with you if you have the right amount of money (and they do that kind of thing). Because of laws there are a lot of cameras around the club, even in the VIP room so it is up to security to determine how much leeway you and the girl will get. Be sure that the girl also tips these people so be aware that the cost will go up because of it.

But then at some clubs you can get a lot of leeway in the open "dark" corners of the club (not as much at the higher class clubs like Rhinos but at the smaller clubs). With the right girl and right amount of money a girl may satisfy you (or not).

But best to go outside if you want to get some real action.

The Rhino lets you get away with more than you think, but yes if full sex is the plan, then a "pull out" is the recommended idea

Yes, you can get a lot more than mentioned at Rhinos but at some clubs you can even get a bj or even some FS without having to pay a big amount. A girl at Rhinos told me she has to pay a hundred or two to the security people if she wants to give a customer some "action" in the VIP room. But then at one of the skankier clubs I had a girl unzip me and service me in the main showroom and it only cost me $60. But maybe the girl liked me??? (kidding).

that Rhino girl was BS-ing you, they allow a little latitude, as long as they keep it in the corner, out of view of the security cameras
but, you're never going to have more than Monica Lewinsky in a vegas club...get her to meet outside the club if that's your goal

They're not outsourced at the MGM. I know several of the concierges working at the property. They are directly employed by MGM and are not paid to recommend one place over the other. In fact I go to several of the concierge events every year and they include shows and restaurants from every major casino chain.

To be perfectly honest, I can't tell the difference in taste between one brand of liquor over the other! I can taste the difference in beer, but I know I would have a hard time picking out "my brand" in a blindfolded taste test.
