    My Trip Report

    Starts tomorrow!

    Boy do I need it!

Two weeks ago I dropped a sheet of 5/8" plywood on my foot and broke two bones in it. Of course that didn't stop me from working. After the ER I laid down 12 sheets of sub floor at my renovation house and went home. I don't do narcotics, Tylenol, ibuprofen, etc. Booze didn't appeal either. I toughed it out.

The following week saw me standing for four days in Grover, CO and last week six miserable days in Nashville. I don't like downtown Nashville, not into Country Music, never left the Renaissance.

I'm at a horse show now, nice warm weather, foot still hurts but anticipating five days at Aria, work during the day, fun at night. Hope the High Limit Slots are favorable to me.

I've had trouble uploading pictures so I've created a page at SmugMug. Still uploading slot pics from previous trips. Will include the link in updated trip reports.

Any VMB'ers out in LV this week?

    Best of luck to all!

Have fun and be careful with that foot!

I need a break too and cannot wait until July! See...I sell plywood and lumber so when I saw 5/8" plywood my first thought was "hmmm probably for sub floor or under the countertops" and my next thought was "damn we are almost out of that and I need to buy a truckload tomorrow". :faint:

Enjoy yourself! Looking forward to the report

You'd figure being a Mechanical Engineer and Physicist plus being 59 I'd ask for help. Nope. Dumbass. That's what I get. I can however calculate drop time, shear stress and kinetic energy of the impact. I just prefer not to....

At least I'm strong enough to push buttons and throw chips on craps tables!

Got my pre-Vegas sunburn at the Horse show. Now I can stay indoors all the time.

Short trip. In Monday, out Saturday.

Good luck to your Vegas trip!

Question is: why did you want to do that (the aforementioned act)?

Unintentional. Local Lowe's isn't known for customer service and I'm not one to ask for it!

OK, with all my troubles uploading TR pics I created a smugmug page:

    http://piggylane.smugmug.com

I uploaded a few of the bigger penny slot wins and a couple $5 wins from my last trip. I haven't added dates. All of them are from NYNY, MC or Aria.

Yes! I don't use a GPS in Vegas. Had a FEDEX driver call me one time about a package pickup, described the location, I knew which FEDEX Office it was (only a couple hold FEDEX ground). Asked if I needed directions. I asked if he did! Told him where I lived, we had a good laugh!

Plane delayed in DTW due to maintenance issue. Grrr...

You may officially live in mass, but about how many days of the year are you actually there? Seems like you go all over the place.

    Good luck in Vegas!
