    My Trip Report

Had a great time on this Vegas trip, including a party for 38 of us in a Cosmopolitan Wrap Around Suite. Dinners were at e' Jose Andres, Bardot, Giada and La Cave. Lunches at Tableau and Buddy V's. Tour of WMS and Bally Technologies who are now both owned by Scientific Games. Complete trip report with photos is on the blog at the link below, including links to review of e', Giada and tour of slot companies.

For those who might not want to read the complete trip report there are separate posts for Giada, this is the 2nd time I've eaten there for dinner and it wasn't quite as good as the first time.

Third time eating at e' Jose Andres and in my opinion it's gotten better and I liked it the first 2 times.

If you are just interested in what it's like to tour WMS and Bally Technologies I have a short write up on that with photos at this link.

Thanks for the great report Diana! I played the new Flintstones slot at Cosmo and had some good hits last weekend. It was very cold at Bellagio though:(.

Awesome TR! I have been doing a lot more slot play this year, so your WMS and Bally Tech tour was very cool. I went to G2E last year, but spent very little time looking at the slots. I am definitely going to spend more time looking at slots during this year's G2E!

I love your TRs. I see you got a Bally grip stand in your goody bag. What is that?

Hi Kathy, sorry Bellagio was cold, it wasn't very nice to me when I stopped by for a few in April, hoping this next trip it will be a bit better. They did a good job with Flintstones, those bonuses are fun, providing they show up of course. Hope to see you in Vegas this year!

I'll be at G2e again this year too. I really enjoy seeing all the new slots and being able to see what the pays and bonuses are like before committing real money to them when they hit the casino floors. Of course sometimes they fool me as I loved the Willy Wonka Pure Imagination slot at G2e but ended up not liking it once I played it a few times for real money. Hope to run into you this year during G2e!

It's a stand for cell phones, but doesn't work with my iPhone 6 plus which seems to be too heavy for it because I always have a battery case attached to it. :)

Awwww!!! i missed the Flintstones machine this time, another item added to my bucket list! But for some reason I can stand losing a crap load on the tables, but I can never play slot machines with max bet. Strange isn't it?

Thank you so much for yet another awesome trip report!

As always, I really enjoyed your TR! Great pics, especially the slot porn! You were so busy with all the meet ups and they all looked like loads of fun, especially the party at the Cosmo x

Brillant TR Diana it's the first of yours I have read and loved every second. I'll be in Vegas on 16th May till 23rd, I'm going to meet up with my British pals Elaine and Tony (I'm also British!), would be great to meet you too, Simon.

More like smart of you not to play the slots at max bet! I really need to start playing more Imperial Baccarat and return to Blackjack and less slots, but I enjoy my hobby of making slot videos and always find myself back at them. I didn't care much for Flintstones when I first tried it in February but it turns out the bonuses are really fun if one can get the slot into going into a cycle of them. :) Hope we have a coinciding trip in the future!

Good to hear from you! I see we just miss each other in Vegas again, as I'm there for my birthday on the 14th of July and you are the following week I think? Have a great trip with your family celebrating your 10th anniversary!

It is a small world! I usually see Kevin and Judy a couple times a year and they are wonderful, so I'm sure he was a great boss to work with!

Hi Simon, that's great you are friends with Elaine and Tony! Perhaps we can all get together for a drink before I leave on May 19th? Not sure how easy it is for you to have cell texting when you are in the USA but you can reach me via Elaine who has my cell and is also on my Facebook friend list and we can see if there's a day and time that's good for all of us. :)

I always enjoy your trip reports. Luckily for me, you go often so I always get a fun read to look forward to every few months or so! I hope to one day meet you and play some slots together!

Glad you like my trip reports and it would be great to meet you on a future trip. :)

Thanks, I appreciate you letting me know that. :)

It would be fabulous to meet up again, hope it works out for next year! :) In the meantime I'll watch for photos from your Vegas trip this summer on Facebook and here. :)

Thanks Rocky, glad you enjoyed it!

Sorry about making you hungry, hope it was right before a mealtime. :)

Hope you get to experience one some day. I think Bally Tech and WMS prefers large groups but I believe if you contact Aristocrat offices in Vegas they take smaller groups. Also, if you just want to see new slots and play them a bit before they hit the casino floors consider scheduling a trip during G2e which is usually the end of September. It's really for the industry but the exhibitors give out some free passes each year to slot players and it's a lot of fun to go.

Always great to hear someone likes the blog and my youtube channel, thanks!

I am always starving after reading your Trip Reports evoni lol. Fantastic photos and I'm exhausted just reading about all the activity. So nice you were able to get together with kydds and Judy. I haven't seen kydds in several years. Say hello to him for me.

Cosmopolitan is really good about allowing outside food and beverage; you don't have to sneak it in.

I'm on the countdown 'til arrival; 13 Sleeps!
