    My Trip Report

Ok well I have been reading a ton of trip reports and they have all been so awesome not matter the length. Well I am gonna try and get this done this trip. This will also help document my trip for once which usually tends to be quite blurry... I am gonna try to keep this updated as much as possible but since I am from Canada and data in the states is stupid expensive, and who am I kidding I am gonna be pretty drunk for most of the trip. A little background I have been to vegas quite a few times but I am far from an expert. I stick to the MGM properties just because they always treat me well. I am arriving tomorrow through Edmonton Alberta at 1:15 in the afternoon. It is a full day and a half before the rest of my buddies show up on Friday evening. It will be interesting to see how I do vegas solo, I am gonna judge this day and half for future solo trips. Who know I may love it!

So my good friend is getting married in August and we figured this is a good excuse to get to vegas. There are only gonna be three of us but let me assure you there will me many drunken shenanigans. I am spending a night at Mandalay Bay tomorrow by my lonesome hopefully sit by the pool for a bit and just do some drunken wandering after. Friday morning while I wait for the others I kinda want to check out the new Elvis exhibit at Westgate... I know I am only 25 but I love Elvis! Also gonna check out many bars and such. We are not big nightclub guys more bars and such. I am a pretty low roller and spend the most of it on craps. When I was in for December at the NFR I was up to 1200 from a 100 dollar buy and proceeded to blow all of it with the help of some good looking girls. Who were not ladies of the night for once... ended up hanging out with them for a good chunk of the NFR afterwards. Once my other friends show up we are moving on over to the MGM and gonna give er hard. Since my Habs lost tonight I will be betting a good chunk on them to win at home on Friday... lets hope!

Attached a some picture of some pre trip drinks of Vodka Rockstars only available in Canada as well...

Looking forward to a nice, cowboy TR.

so save the Heavy data action for the good Wi-Fi hot-spots!

    Have fun & Yee Ha!

Happy Vegas ! I hear ya on the crazy data, I always end up at a mcds trying to get some solid bars!! In Nov when I was there the travel pack I added had decent data included which ended up with no extra data & roaming charges for the first time ever !

The trip somewhat begins with a drive to the airport that is the same length as the fight 3 hours, Vegas Soon!

As an oilfield worker in Alberta I am pretty sure I have driven most roads in this province and stopped at every point of interest and I'm still trying to guess where that photo was taken. I've ruled out Lloyd, Hinton and Fox Creek since you are on a two lane. I'm stumped.

    Looking forward to your report.

A breakfast Caesar or two before the flight. Take off in an hour and a half!
