As you know, I've been focusing on juggling Diamond level at CET, Platinum level at mLife, and Gold level at V/P.

Well, something had to give, because in this game you don't get "something for nothing". I guess my play levels have dropped off enough, because I got my bi-monthly comp letter from the D and it has been reduced.

Still 4 free nights a month and (2) $50 match plays, but the FB has been reduced by 1/3 and FP has been reduced by 25%.

I have a Silver Striker trip in June, and I usually stay at the D for those, but now I'm thinking if it might be time to try somewhere else, like Downtown Grand. They are offering $400 free play on this month's mailing. It's a shame, because I like my host at the D.

I have decided against SLS. They can "only" comp me two non-weekend days and want to charge me rack rate for any additional days. Fair's fair, since I have no actual play record there. I'm going to email the host(ess) and say "thanks but no thanks", maybe if I play there more and actually enjoy their "smallish" casino.

Anyone know what gets you an invitation to any of the CET NYE parties? I am DAL1 right now.

WHo is offering $400 free play per month?? If it's the D, then maybe I need to check out the D!

Downtown Grand. This is a user specific invite.

Hey TIMSPEED, I guess I'm more degenerate than you. I'm driving up to Reno for the day to get the cruise certificate at Harrahs. Taking a day off of work to do it. Might play for an hour, but I've gotta be back that night.

DaiLun, what kind of coin-in play history do you have at the DTG to get $400 freeplay? I really need to talk to a host there and see why I get no offers.

I'm on the same budget there as I am at other places $1500-$2000 per day, but coin in, I'd have to look.

I think I went a little overboard on my last trip, though. Ran up $3 or $4k on my marker. A side story. I put in for a $5k marker limit because they were advertising "an exclusive party" for those with a $5k marker line or more. I guess that went away after that guy refused to pay his $500k marker.

I was about to ask that of some of the mLife and CET members how they were getting so much freeplay.

In fact, I had 3 consecutive 2500 TC days at Caesars a couple of weeks ago and haven't seen anything yet. I know, I know. It takes time.

At CET, ever since the bankruptcy many players have seen a reduction in their freeplay levels unfortunately, or, they tend to limit the better free play offers to certain dates in the month rather than it being available anytime. I believe it can take up to 3 months to get play recognized through their system. I do think CET offers great experiences on their offers though. They do bring in some good headliners and can often have events surrounding shows etc. I did go to one last year that had an invite to a private steak dinner, they had the showroom done up really well, free drinks, they did a Photo Booth with free 8X10 pics to take home and I ended up winning $1000 in freeplay at the drawing anyway - plus was given 2 front row tix to the show (albeit to was Olivia Newton John - but it was fun!) Plus because they host other things like Vegas uncorked you can get invited to some pretty exclusive portions - last year certain ADT levels were invited to food demo's with Giada (and other celebrity chefs) I believe. Everything will be based on your ADT rather than tier level. You should be fine with your ADT given your play level.

Just log into your TR account on-line - you will soon be flooded with dozens of offers - enjoy!!

why in the world would you ever do that?

there are very few with enough money to really play multiple property groups.

for everyone else, spreading around you're just reducing what you're getting everywhere

and wasting money in the process.

I do this as well and I dont think I'm wasting my money. I'm not one to stay/play at just one casino for the rest of my life. I stay with Mlife 1/2 my time and I'm Platinum there. When I stay comped at an MGM hotel I only play at other MGM casinos during that stay. When I stay comped at CET hotels, where I earned Diamond, I only gamble with them.

The system works for me since I dont have the bankroll to be Noir with Mlife or 7Star with CET. So I get the perks and benefits of 2 clubs to keep my vacations fresh. My bankroll doesnt change. Well I end up spending more at CET since I feel the slots take my money faster but by and large its all the same.

So no money wasted. Now if I stayed with MGM and used my $1K per day bankroll to play at every property and club on the strip that day that would hurt.

Thanks for the defense. I travel to LV 6-10 times a year, and I like to take advantage of all of the comp benefits every trip.

    For example:

Tickets to Shark Reef and a CET show each trip. Taking a guest to the Diamond Lounge, riding the High Roller, visiting the Gold Lounge at V/P.

@Shifter - It's a matter of what you value. Your tastes and mine are different. Grid and mine are more alike.

Same here. I like variety and playing CET and mLife provides both. I can't do Noir or 7 Stars but Diamond (CET) and Platinum (mLife) are doable.

    well, I should have clarified.

I totally agree, never have all your eggs in one basket,

and playing with 2 groups is good.

but 3-4 is way too thin IMO.

but if you actually like the perks of the card color, then I guess it's worth it!
