    Hi all

Does anyone know what is the current gaming day cycle for Mlife, is it 5am-5am like CET?

I will be staying at the mirage but doesn't arrive until something like midnight, I want to know if I should/can start playing right away or wait for the new day to start so my ADT doesn't get affected negatively

    Thanks!

Nobody knows because it doesn't matter.

At MGM your play is split over the number of days of your stay regardless.

They don't do ADT like CET.

Play as much as you want whenever you want.

    Then my question would be:

What if you're not staying at an mLife property?

I would like to know the same. I stayed at an extended stay suites place last month from a Monday to a Sunday. I played at Luxor Monday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday. Was my average divided by 4 or 7?

anything within 7 days is counted as one trip.

but "ADT" or "ADW" isn't really used that big by Mlife.

they look at more of a big picture per trip scenario.

hmm, looks like we're having mixed feedback here, thanks everyone for trying to help. I will likely just go and ask their host on duty when I arrive, I will also post back here if I get a clear answer.

DaiLun : Thanks for the help, looking forward to see what kind of answer you get.
Shifter : I hope what you are saying is true, because I'm staying at the Mirage for 6 nights starting April 25th, so the 7 day cycle works perfect for this trip!
DeMoN2318 : I've heard the 3am version also, but was never sure because another person would say something different.

If I don't get a clear answer before my trip or when I get there, I'm just gonna enjoy, have a good time, and gamble whenever I want to, it's not like I'm an important enough gambler for the Mirage, lol! Thanks again guys.

Here's the answer that I got:

"Good morning, Thank you for contacting m life Member Services. Our casinos are open 24 hours a day. Please do not hesitate to contact us if we can provide any additional information."

I rephrased my question and re-sent it.

it's not a 7 day cycle, it's that you need 7 days removed from any activity before they consider it a second trip.

you can stay a month and it will all be one trip.

but if you come one weekend, leave on Sun and then return on Thu or Fri, both weekends will be considered one "trip".

the only reason this is important is for per trip rebates/AF/etc mostly on int'l programs.

Casinos keep their gaming day hours close to the vest. Aside from comp/ mystery reasons, this is also partially due to CTRs, to discourage manipulating cash in / cash out limitations in a 24 hour period. I have been directly told by a shift manager that they don't reveal it. It could be property specific, but I am pretty sure it is tied to CTRs.

I have found that CET is very open with that information. I have email threads where I have asked and they answered.

They post specific bonuses for a days play.

In Las Vegas it's 6AM to 5:59AM the following day, but in Reno/Tahoe, the casino day at Harrah's and Harvey's is 5AM to 4:59AM.

I doubt they would not reveal that information to prevent people from avoiding CTRs. You could just hold onto the chips for 24 hours after all if you weren't sure of the exact times. And structuring to avoid a CTR is pretty frowned upon, you'd be causing yourself a lot more grief by structuring.

The "Gaming days" I believe are for internal marketing purposes. With the nature of casinos having a strictly calendar day for gaming seems odd, since a lot of time people gamble past midnight, but consider it still the day before. The CTRs are for the government, and I believe they will need to be based on the calendar day.

CTRs are based on 24 hours regardless of day.

Lol, that answer cracked me up.

I guess to keep my low rolling life simple, I will just gamble away and don't give a crap about how I 'score'.......

Is play at multiple properties considered as one combined trip at MGM Properties, similar to CET Properties?

I know hosts get credit for play at their particular property, I think a player gets credit across all of their properties, but I wanted to confirm.

    Thanks

how exactly is the 7 days defined ? Is it 7 x 24 = 168 hours between activity, or 7 empty calendar days, or 7 "internal" days (like the 6am-5:59a definition of CET) ?

i'm asking because I have 2 upcoming trips with exactly the edge scenario - end first session on saturday 2pm, then begin next trip exactly the next saturday around 4pm. In this scenario, is this one trip or 2 ? If you just count empty calendar days it's Sunday-Friday, just 6 days, but if you count by hours, it's 170 hrs gap, which is just over the 168 threshold.
