Just wrapped up two nights at Comso and haven't heard anyone note the following:

    • In the main casino area all the table games have new felt, which advertises the property's restaurants. Personally I'm not a fan and prefer plain green. But do you know what was not printed on the felt? "Blackjack pays 6 to 5". In fact, I found that the majority of their blackjack tables are 3:2 and if it's 6:5 it will be noted on the LCD screen. I only saw ONE 6:5 table on Thursday around noon, it was a $25 table next to UTH/TCP. Yes there was a sucker sitting at it while several 3:2 tables ten steps away were unoccupado. Having said this, I didn't troll the Bond Bar/pit area at night where I would assume most tables are still 6:5. I'm confident someone will check this out and report back.
    • The craps tables have new felt and a field 12 now pays triple. Dealers said this changed last week.
I would argue that gambling conditions are improving at Cosmo. All the dealers I talked to said new management are definitely trying to cater to a High Roller, but I'd argue the two points above help the low and mid rollers too.

The fancy cocktail situation remains unchanged, you can still get any fancy drink you'd like while playing.

What is the minimum 3:2 table currently ? $25 ? any idea if they lower during the day ? Loved to play there when they still offered $15 3:2 blackjack.

I saw $15 day, $25 night. This was Tues-Thurs. Honestly the casino was really dead - and I mean REALLY DEAD - until about 3pm each day. There were several conventions going on and it didn't seem to pick up until they were done for the day.

Didn't see any $5 craps but work duties kept me in my room till around noon each day; the other times I've seen $5 craps it was before 10am.

Call me crazy, but I swear when they first added BJ to Bond bar they started with 3:2 then quickly went to 6:5 shortly after. Main floor always had 3:2 as long as I can recall.

I've only seen $5 craps when visiting on Tuesday/Wednesday mornings in both May and Oct. of 2014. Obviously only when the place was entirely dead.

Good to hear they are making some improvements.

I will rain on everyone's parade, including my own - I was wrong about more 3:2. There may have been more 3:2 tables when I was there, and the felt has changed, but I have been informed that the crappy rules are still there and more crappy tables are being added, it's just that 6:5 is now noted on the LCD screen.

Maybe my original post should have said something like "I saw more 3:2 tables mid week".

So PT is the only real winner here with the better field PT bet.

Have they changed out their cards? I absolutely hated the cards they were using at Cosmo. I didn't like the print and they didn't seem to be holding up very well before they are changed out.

When I visited in December, I'm reasonably certain (like 70-80%) I saw one 3:2 shoe game at the Bond bar when I walked around. Everything else was 6:5. Min was $15, but it was also slow that night...

Hopefully I'll find some good news in a few days!

What are the other crappy rules besides 6:5?

Also, did you notice any double deck, and if so, was it pitch game and what minimums?

A long time back I played 3:2 at bond but haven't seen it for a long time. The $5 craps does exist, like you I saw it either on a Tuesday or wednesday morning during February. Lost my ass taking max odds. Good to know about paying triple on the field, it becomes such a better bet. Still sort of a sucker bet but more tolerable now. I'm a sucker for the field if the table is $5.

Yeah I was in there yesterday. It's basically the status quo (besides the new felt). Shoes on the main floor are 3:2. DD is 6:5. Bond area is all 6:5.

If you could keep an eye out for these (and maybe even which table it was), that'd be hugely appreciated. I've looked for 3:2 at Bond every time I've been in Vegas, and never actually seen it, but then I keep seeing threads like this which are starting to make me think I'm going crazy.

IF there is 3:2 at Bond it would be one of the shoe games on the end closest to the windows. I played $15 3:2 there back in Feb of 2014. Almost 100% certain it was 6:5 this past feb 2015.

That's exactly where I always check! I distinctly remember doing at least two laps around that pit, in each of September 2014 and November 2014, with no luck. I did a quick look when I was there in May 2014 as well, but was with the girlfriend and she wanted to keep moving.

I check every time too. The gf likes to play roulette at bond if we can squeeze in. It's bad rules for that gams regardless of bond or not. Haha. Though lately we just post up at the Bond vp bar and consume way too many of their speciality cocktails. I didn't play blackjack in May 2014 but I'm pretty sure it was 6:5 then. A lot of my trips run together in my memory so I might be fuzzy on exact dates.

I was there in Feb 2014 and June 2014 and played $10 3:2 blackjack in the Bond Bar area quite a bit. This was during the week, however. It was nice while it lasted!!

That was the same table I was thinking of as well. Facing the window.

Sorry to report it's gone, at least both nights I checked this week. Looks to be sporadic and hard to find at this point.
