    My Trip Report

Heading up today for the crab feed tomorrow night. The weather looks great and hoping for some decent luck. Mostly a dice and vp player. I've hit a royal on each of my last 2 trips in December and January. Can the lucky streak last? After reading the bartender TR with THREE royals in one trip, I'm gonna do my part to find out. Really looking forward to the early am vp with baileys and coffee.

My dice play continues to evolve. I'm looking for low volatility to stretch the sessions out but enough action to keep me interested. I used to press hard and early but never saw enough heaters to make it work. Over the past two trips I've played only 1 pass or 1 pass+1 come and pressing after the third hit. Both times I lost much less than normal and obviously missed out on some heaters.

This trip I'm going to try just placing 6/8 and press after collecting 3x the spread. This seems like the opposite of dark side betting. Betting on common numbers for even money(basically). After trying to play only pass, I've seen enough 5 hand streaks with no points made.

Good Luck Phatpoeater! Hope the early morning VP gods are with you! Interested to hear how the craps strategy evolves. I waver back forth sometimes during the same session trying to catch a streak or reduce the volatility, and usually pick the wrong strategy at the right time. Sooner or later we all are gonna hit monster roll with the right bets out there! At least that what I tell myself! Good Luck!

UTH has a couple spots but lots of people watching. I have no clue what's going on.

Dice have been break even for the past hour. Can't ask for more than that!

Finished down $60. First hand was the best with many 6/8s. Slow bleed after that. The flat betting is definitely reducing volatility. Saw a lot of heavy press players reaching for money over and over.

    Now for some BP.

Just wow. I took these pics thinking it wasn't going to get any better. But holy shit the stack just kept growing.

    And the final count
    [IMG]

2 shooters kept nailing the 6/8s. I started $60 6 and 8. Full press after racking 3x the spread. Actually hit a $240 8. Incredible night for a long time dice loser. Even cooler was chatting with one of the dealers who is Iranian. The majority of the winning happened while we talked about life in Iran and the relationship between the government and general population.

Off to bed and early am VP.

Thanks! There aren't many sights for pics in reno, especially when I never leave the casino. I'm not that much of a Vegas Strip person but your pic-driven TR was great. I guess I could take pics of the sad store fronts. I'll just have to hit some vp hands to create my own scenery.

    Baileys&coffee here I come.

Well dice have been kind. After dropping $350 on .25/.50/$1 vp I decided to try the empty dice table for a hit and run. Started 5/25 pl/odds with 12 6/8. Tread water for a bit then another player comes and I decide to just go pass with 10/50.

Only a couple PSO with a few 2 or 3 pass hands. It feels good to collect that 2:1 on 10! That's the one drawback of playing 6/8 only. For the last hand I go for 20/100 on a point of eight and manage to hit it but seven out on the next one. Actually threw a bunch of naturals making it a decent hand. Colored up +135.

Back to the room then breakfast. Solid 2 hours in today. I'm hoping I can squeak out a bunch of small wins today since it's still so early.

After breakfast, played some $5 BJ with the gf. I'm down about $25 after 45 minutes. Missed a $20 DD.

She wanted to play some dice so I go with $30 6/8 again and this time the dice go sour. I think 4 shooters in a row go pointless and no 6/8! Finally on my last $60 I break even on a few shooters but eventually finish $260 down.

We head up to the non smoking vp slant tops where I hit a royal last trip. I drop $50 on quarter JoB. Quadless after missing on 4 or 5 dealt trips.

Afterwards we head up for a nap before lunch. I toss and turn for an hour and we are headed out for some Carolina pork bbq. Gf is going to do some shopping after lunch so I'll be hitting the dice tables all afternoon.

I might go big again since I'm still positive on the trip. I'd love nothing more to pad the avg bet and break even but the session after breakfast was a good reminder of how bad it can get.

I must be cashing in all my karma this trip.

Another amazing dice session. It started ice cold. I went with $60 6/8 and immediately started sliding. I was on my last bet and clawed halfway back. I took the dice and absolutely hammered the 8. After hitting it flat 5 times I started full press followed by same bet. I got the 8 to $480 and NAILED it! The seven soon followed. During my roll, a guy bought in for 3 bills and bet the field twice with $100 then $200. He whiffed both times. When I saw him bet the $200 I practically screamed at the dude "12 BABY!" Hard six, sorry bro.

A couple good shooters followed adding several more hits. 2 shooters after me rolled 6 points but I was just place betting. Colored +$1200. I think this and last night were in my top 5 finishes ever.

Time to celebrate with a happy hour Mac 18. Woot for half off!
