Several years ago, I had a fantastic gigantic Broiled Lobster tail at Vic & Anthony's I think it was 20 ounces or so. I am looking to treat myself again once on this trip for another fabulous tail. I don't mind payong $80 or so as long as ot os a huge tail and mouthwatering.

I can do anywhere in Vegas.

    And recs.

    Thanks.

Palm in Ceasar's Palace has a giant tail that we awesome! They also gave you the claws and sides. $25 per pound, whole lobster, and they go up to 5 pounds.

Something tells me you will be paying a LOT more than 80$ for a 20 oz lobster TAIL. Esp.out there.

the cold water Australian Lobster tails at Vic and Anthonys are 200 + dollars
at Circus Circus You can buy the surf and turf and make it turf turf for no additional price so two 8 or 10 oz lobster tails for 70 bucks or so.

I tried a lobster tail this past trip and although it was great, I can't see paying $34 for it again.

It is not a traditional lobster tail, but the Lobster Pot Pie at Michael Mina was freaking incredible. HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT.

I love lobster. Just lobster with butter. I don't like anything mixed in with it. So damn good. Most lobster rolls have the mayo and other stuff but a Connecticut lobster roll is just lobster meat and butter. Not as good good old lobster tail but I'll eat it (Lobster Me has those and I'm sure other places do as well).

Prime does a good job with them, too. Joe's Stone Crabs can do a mean lobster.

I just tried Lobster Me for the first time last week and the Connecticut roll was damn good. I got the original one also and it was good, but nothing can beat lobster and melted butter.

+1 about lobster and butter. Have to make sure that the bread/roll is toasted well. Is this the place at V/P?

There's a Lobster Me at the Venetian and at PH. I've been to the PH one but not the Venetian.

2 pound full Maine lobster at Old Homestead in CP was $63 in August. Hubby thought it was the best lobster he had in Las Vegas to date. He hasn't had much luck getting anything other than so-so lobster tails in Vegas.

I agree. Old Homestead was a downgrade from Nero's, but having a somewhat "name" restaurant in Old Homestead has clearly increased their volume. Anyone know what happened to longtime Nero's Maitre d' Sami?
