Please help me with pros and cons of both, I'm so confused with what features come with which rooms. I'm booking through WestJet and we are trying to stay on a budget. Both hotels are close in cost, but the amenities are not really clear on the websites.

    Thanks for your help!!!

TI was my home base back in June, and I really enjoyed staying there. Fairly nice up-to-date rooms, great casino environment, and solid service from the bartenders while playing VP at the bar. $20 trick at check-in earned us an upper floor room with north and south strip views. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. Never been to Flamingo.

TI has nicer rooms and a nicer casino with better games.

The features are basically the same in King rooms. F has a daybed kind of a thing and TI has a chase lounge But the F rooms are really dated.

We always stay at T.I. We like it that you get off the elevator and a couple steps and your in the casino. No long walk.

Go Rooms are NOT dated. Go rooms have a fridge.

Flamingo has a top notch pool, their casino is getting renovated and they are right by the new Linq corridor.

Or you can do the $20 trick and get an upper floor Deluxe Room with a north/south strip view and a fridge at TI, and still pay less than what you would pay at Flamingo.

I think it really comes down to the pool. Flamingo has a great pool, even though it is showing its age it is still one of the best pools on the strip. TI pool is more of a concrete hole, and not a very big one at that. On the weekends Flamingo pool can get crowded with the timeshare people. Big plus for Flamingo.

Rooms - Rooms at TI have all been updated within the last 3 years and are in a muted chocolate/brown style. Rooms at the end of the hall have windows on two corners and are available for asking. TI also has Petite Suites that are easily obtained (depending on how full the hotel is at check in, of course). Flamingo GO rooms are about as new at TI rooms, but "regular" rooms at Flamingo are quite dated. GO rooms at Flamingo are quite bright, with reds and whites as a primary decorating theme. Not really my style, but I'm sure others like it. TI wins here.

Casino Floor - Both casinos have succumbed to the 6:5 blackjack curse, more at Flamingo than TI. TI machines appear to be newer and in better shape than their Flamingo counterparts. Flamingo casino is brighter, and I think a little more lively than TI, TI appears to be a little (really little) more upscale in their color scheme. Edge to TI.

Location - Flamingo is closer to the Bellagio fountains, TI is across the street from the Fashion Show mall and Wynn. With a car, it is easier to get in/out of TI with almost direct access to I-15 without having to get on the strip. Flamingo garage is between the strip and Koval and can be a hefty walk. Plus for TI if you have a car, probably slight plus for Flamingo if no car.

Those are my opinions, worth exactly what you paid for them!!

    Good Luck!

Could anyone tell me about the wifi in the TI vs. the Flamingo? Reading some TripAdvisor reports and one says you can't use the Wifi outside the hotel room in F?
