    Hey all,
Heading back to vegas April 22nd and I have that feeling a big win is due! In my world a 10k win is a monster.... What I wanna know is what direction does the trip take??
I ain't bringing it home...I would be in search of the ultimate vegas day and would love to hear how you guys would blow it..

So here's my version....new threads for myself and my crew. Head out looking sharp most likely straight to spearmint for some vip treatment followed by table service and after party back in my suite ( which I assume I will have just been comped). In other words I am leaving that full jackpot behind me...

Love your thoughts on how you'd blow it and I am missing a trick here...no sensible replies about clearing debt here, I'm not asking my mammy

    Yea, right!

Anyways, I have had trips to various casinos where I get a number of hand pays the first night. What they ends up meaning is that I attempt to continue the streak and stay up all night and try again the next day. You all know where this story is headed.

Well, firstly, you wouldn't get a comped suite for a $10k win.

After new threads, you have what...8k left

Table and bottle service run you about 3k

Then 2k for the suite you didn't get comped

So 3k for spearmint... might last you the night. Then come tax season you get raped

Better hope for a 100k win

Haha, fair point....although 3k in spearmint? They must love you in there...

No experience...just a guess at what a VIP service at spearmint would run for you and your crew...

No need to spend that much money at the Rhino. Just chill, make some friends and someone will be open to meeting you later for more fun and you should be able to afford it. :)

What firstkill said minus #2 & 3.. Take the cash from those and add it to #7!!! Also save enough to pay for flight, room, food and bev. About 4 trips ago I was up 12k and and in 2 hours of play I gave back 8k. I was ok with that. So, PLAY IT! Take the gamble.

I never won in vegas trip but at my local casino i had bigger jackpot then 10k, but it sucks when tax payment get due, specially when u are in top tax bracket, you better let the casino withdraw the tax upfront, and spend rest of them, that's my game plan for next june 15 visit.

I would want a $9,500 win at craps...don't have to report it on your taxes. :)
    New suit - $2,500
    Nice dinner
    More craps!

I feel like I'll win the lottery everytime I buy a superlotto or scratcher.

In other news, I say go to all the boutique stores and get some nice threads and buy bottle service and meet some ladies. You don't need the stripper route if you have that much money. Hit up the nice clubs and you'll get some nicer company.

    That's completely false.

Over 10k is only when a CTR is required on a cash transaction. Has nothing to do with reportable income or anything about taxes. All gambling winnings are to be reported as income per the IRS.

However almost everything about the US tax system is voluntary and what you choose to report or not is your own decision and your own business.

$10k seems a little light for the type of evening you have in mind.

i just got back from a week in vegas on 3.5 grand and the girlfriend and i had a great time. goodness gracious what i'd do with 10k.....let alone in a single night! already planning trip back for her birthday in september >< will probably allot a little more funds for gambling next time around. a Qua treatment would be on the list.
