Seasons Greetings to all! Its been awhile since I popped in but the time has come to begin the planning for Super Bowl Weekend. Now that the holiday season is behind the trip is beginning to take shape.

I hope all of you have been well these past three months. Hopefully when I get caught up on the Trip Reports I will see that everyone has enjoyed successful and profitable trips!

After I had to cut my September trip short because of my grandmother's illness I returned to Houston and buried myself in work. We had our busiest Q4 since I have been a part of my company so work took up a lot of my time combined with a trip to Peru and of course family coming in for the holidays. I just didn't have time to post!

But I am excited to be able to begin planning SB Weekend. Since SB Weekend sucked last year (lost on Denver) and the Sept trip was cut short, our favorite vacation destination owes me one!

More than likely it will just be myself and one friend who make the pilgrimage this year. Two have backed out for various reasons. But that will not stop me from enjoying Vegas!

Right now it looks like I will be coming in on Thursday 29 Jan and departing on Tuesday 03 Feb. I will be staying at The Palazzo on a comp offer (three nights comped and the other two at casino rate to be comped on the back end) with a little bit of free play and some food and beverage credits.

I also plan to get to the things that I did not do last trip...meeting up with some of you to play dice, Mob Museum, Absinthe and several other things.

    Let The Countdown Begin!!

    Frank! What's up man?

Sorry to hear about the bad beats. I had one a couple weeks ago...drove over to the new Golden Nugget in Lake Charles and got smoked. The worst kind of losing...where you blow through your roll before you can have a few drinks. Nothing but Seven Outs...got pissed and went to play blackjack and lost ten hands in a row. I laughed and walked out. F that place! lol

I'm not heading in until Saturday otherwise I was going to suggest drinks at the airport. I'll be downing breakfast tacos and a bloody Mary on that Saturday morning. Depending on how quickly Cosmo gets us into our room we were considering going downtown saturdwy since the strip will probably be a shitshow and I need my pizza rock fix. Neon Muesuem and Mob Muesuem are on my to do list. I'd be down for some downtown or Cosmo dice.

I head back to htown tomorrow and considered stopping at the new GN but I'm going to hold off because I want to spend a whole day there. How are the table minimums? I've got a couple of coupon for the isle of debris but it may. It be worth it. I just kidn of want to be back home plus preserve bankroll to go all out in lv.

Rocky welcome back. I hope grandma is OK. Was it Philly you had to go back to? Grab any good food.
Our Eagles took a swan dive. Maybe next year. I'm even going to take the Giants tomorrow.
Headed out for SB Thurs. - Mon. Seven of us this year.
Are you going to try to do Lagasse for SB? Still looking for you there from our Sept. trip. LOL.
Staying at Silverton. Only place that will give me free rooms and no resort fee. It's a principle thing and I'm a stubborn Irishman.
As always, hope we can get together but you know how it goes. Once you land in LV things get crazy.
My buddy is a big craps player. He likes Silverton because of the 10X odds. So we will spend a lot of time there.
VIP SB party is at Harrah's this year.
    Be good my friend.

Good luck on it all coming together, Capt! Where will you be staying?

What's up, buddy? How have you been?! Hope all is well!

Sweet! Maybe we can catch up prior to the game and pick each others brains on the props and game lines. How'd the SuperContest treat you?

I am down for some Cosmo or downtown dice...when the time gets closer we'll plan it out.

When I went to GN it was the full opening weekend and there was such a big line getting in they had the police out directing traffic. I didn't realize it was opening weekend and woke up and had that itch to shoot dice so I made the drive over. The lines inside were insane especially at the cashier and the players club desks.

They had two craps tables at $10 (packed and with people two deep behind waiting to jump on), one at $15 (also packed), and one at $25. The quarter table is the one that stole my soul.

They also have crapless craps and that was $10.

I popped into the Isle and it was dead...they did re-do their felts though and added the "all tall/small" so that is cool. The Nugget has 'em too.

You may get lucky and it won't be too crowded since it is a holiday weekend. Good luck, man!

Sounds good! The contest wasn't good, but was a ton of fun. First place guy is hitting at an insane percentage.

Hello Joe! Hope you've been well!

Yeah I went back to Philly from LV in Sept when my grandmother got sick (she is doing much better now so that's good!). I of course took down a couple cheesesteaks and ordered a pizza pie from the Greek dude down the street from my Mom's place. He runs a good shop!

I am disgusted by the Eagles and their December performance. They were masking all the blemishes from earlier in the year (turning the damn ball over!) and it caught up to them. They have some work to do and it needs to start at cornerback...I could go on and on...I fully expect the Giants to put up 30+ tomorrow. How can they stop Odell Beckham Jr?! They can't!

I don't do Lagasse's for the SB...we go to an off-strip place called Steiner's. A buddy started going there a couple years ago and its become tradition. They have a great set up so we enjoy that atmosphere and a break away from the crowds on the strip!

For sure - we'll touch base once the time gets closer to see if we'll be able to grab a drink and shoot the breeze a bit while in town! Good hearing from you and take care buddy!

Yeah I have been following it online and he's killing it. That $700k check is gonna be a nice little reward!

I am determined to enter next year. The contest I am in our leader is at a 67.4% clip...and I am clocking in at 51.3%...I went 1-5 last weekend and that was the dagger. The Eagles get shithoused and I go 1-5...booooooo

Good luck if you do it next year, I'm thinking about it but I think they need to re-do the places for payouts since there are so many ppl in the contest now.

Rocky good to see you back.

I'll be in Vegas for SB this year too.

I lost on the Broncos also.

I'm coming in on Friday but leaving either Monday after noon or Monday evening.

I have Aria, Caesar's and Cosmo booked right now. LOL three rooms and only two people going.

Will be fun and we need to hit the pinball hall of fame to add to the list.

If you ever make it down to houston, on the last and 1st Friday's of the month there is a place downtown that has a ton of classic arcade and pinball machines. $15 and all the machines set to free play. There's also a bar attached to it. It's valled Joystix, they also refurb/sell games and rent out for parties. The Vegas pinball Muesuem is on my to-do list along with the atomic testing.

Good point - the participants increase by a ton each year. What is it that gets paid now? Top 50?

Yo Carve - how the hell are ya, buddy!? Good to see you still posting. Have any upcoming trips?

Yo pp! I am probably just going to bet on Seattle this year assuming they make it. I think it will be NE vs SEA and I will be taking the Hawks. Did you ever make it to a pool over the past couple months?!
