Ok I'll start this week's NFL thread because I am on the cusp of winning a season prop bet. I took the Patriots over 10.5 games for the season, and they are at 10, with 3 to play.
    Squish the Fish!
The best part of these pre-season bets is that they happened so long ago that the money feels completely "new". In other words, if I win the bet then I will feel like the entire $1,600 is a win, not just the $600.

I bet you were a bit nervous after the 1st 4 weeks, LOL, I wonder what the prop bet would have been 12 years ago the Pats would win 10 or more games each season for next 12 years. Go Pats ,in Bill we trust !! My props are Pat in SB and Lions over 8.

I'm on the Vikings too this week with the same prop bet. And I'm a die hard Packers fan. Them winning this week would be double good as beating the Lion's helps the Pack. My other props are Denver under 12.5 and Packers to win SB.

Glad someone else started the thread, as I apparently fail at week counting.

As for picks this week, I'm feeling the Pats to cover 7.5, and Seattle to cover 7.5 against the Niners at home. The over (54.5) on Pittsburgh Atlanta also seems smart.

7 1/2 is a great line as it is up to 9-10 at some places. But becareful as it is a revenge game for sf from a few weeks ago.

Been waiting for this thread as we're making the trek this weekend to LAS to watch/bet the games. I also enjoy the preseason props. This year I locked in Aaron Rodgers for MVP at +650 and Packers to win the Super Bowl at +1600.

St Louis @ home -31/2 looks nice Thursday. Two teams going in the opposite direction.
What odds would I get to bet Rams to get their 3rd shutout in a row?
I love Fisher as a coach.

I thought 6 was a great O/U for Vikings wins, especially since I got it @ +110. Season started out great with a week #1 win @ St Louis but it quickly went downhill with the Adrian Peterson suspension and the Matt Cassell injury. Also without Pro Bowl TE Kyle Rudolph for the 1st 8 games didn't help my cause either. Teddy Bridgewater has really stepped up nicely. A few weeks ago when we were 4-7 I was really just hoping to get a push and my $1200 back but now I have a great shot of getting that 7th win with 3 games to go. I think we will lose to the Lions this Sunday but am optimistic that we can eek out a win over either Miami or Chicago. I loved the news that Chicago will be without Brendan Marshall as we close out the season at home against the Bears. Go VIKINGS and lets get the 7th win!! SKOL

Man, thats a lot of Juice on a win O/U prop bet. Did you tease it down a 1/2 game or something? Usually just -110 Juice on these win props.

This is what was offered. I'm sure 11 games would have had less vig.

Yeah the line is up to 10 now at MGM. Crazy how far the mighty Niners have fallen. (Losing to Oakland will do that)

I think I'm gonna go Pittsburgh Atlanta over and on the Pats to cover.

EDIT: I'm also starting to consider Arizona with the points. St. Louis is a giant killer, but the Rams do not possess anywhere near the receiving threats Atlanta used to score on Arizona.

Saints -3 vs. Bears has a high probability. No Brandon Marshall, no chance at a playoff spot, no reason to play your best players, no offense, no defense, etc...

LOL! That might cover my dry cleaning. When I saw the ticket after reading the post, I spit salad on my sweater sleeve.

I love the Rams tonight. Not sure about the line, but I love them to win. Good luck!

Colin Herd was doing great in the beginning and now has not been so good and I don't like his picks this week.

    Colin's Picks

BUFFALO, INDY, DALLAS, SAN FRAN, and SD.

    Green Bay at Buffalo (+4.5)
    Houston at Indianapolis (-6.5)
    Dallas (+3.5) at Philadelphia
    San Francisco (+10) at Seattle
    Denver at San Diego (+4)

His LOCK OF THE YEAR. Indy so I might have to take that.

    I am such a sheep....
