Yes, I'm a Degen...back-to-back trips [LIVE 12/5-12/7]

Lol, so unbeknownst to me...my wife socked away $300 last week, because she knew im a degen and would want to come with her to San Diego, to gamble.
So, here we are driving down to SD again...
She has a legitimate reason...shes doing a Neon Run 5k @ Del Mar Fairgrounds with her sister.
So, she's letting me have her comped weekend at Barona Casino, and she's staying with her sister..

After last weeks DDB miracle, im planning on hitting them hard.
Also, they offer 3CP and UTH, both with the "optimal" paytables (6/4, and 9/7, respectively)
I'll try to post pics (I brought my tablet, so I can upload pictures to it)

lol, I'd much rather be in Vegas..but last minute flight was $200 and couldn't find a ride...(Kris's aunt is driving down to San Diego for the run too, so we hitched a ride with her)
In the time I've been sitting in shitty traffic, everyone at VMB meet up is hitting jackpots (friend of mine hit AWAK twice within an hour, first at $, then at $5!)

 

So, were stopping in Bakersfield for gas, food, and bathroom break.
Were going via 58 -> 146 -> 215/15.
Which we hope is faster than over the Grapevine and across 210...
I'm not driving, so I really can't complain, lol.
Barona is an 18+ casino, so no booze...good thing I brought a bottle of SoCo

 

Wow, I always thought you lived in vegas? I haven't been in Bakersfield in probably 20 years. Used to drive down the coast with my parents every year to go to Anaheim and Disneyland. Didn't realize the US had 18+ gambling halls.

Man, what a shitty luck night...
$150 damn near evaporated at 25 9/6 DDB.
Then the other $150 went whizzing by at 6/4 3CP (it didn't help that I never made a pair plus win!)
So, here I sit tomorrow, broke, lol.

I'm confused. You previously stated (In your Reno TR) that "you won't go to an Indian casino", yet you'd go to a San Diego Indian casino?

OK, re-read your post:

Yup...Barona is like the only one I WILL go to (I don't count Harrahs Rincon as one, because I can accumulate TR points there)

Update:
Got up and had two $1 street tacos...SO GOOD!
walked around looking for a lucky machine...sat down at a Bier Haus...caught fire..put in $100, hit a bonus on 50c, then $1, then $1.50...total, I got it up to $180 and dashed!
found some WEIRD Ainsworth"Mustang Money", which had a "Major Must Hit" at $371/$400...have no idea what I did, put I took my $180 ticket up to $299.50...played it back to $250 and ran!
Trying to decide what to do next...haha.

 

If they have the "Rumble Rumble" (with the bull) by Ainsworth, I would suggest putting $20 in it.

They also make "Flying Horse".

If you hit the bonus round, it fills the entire top screen with reels. Kind of hard to describe.

I hit the bonus on it at Aria and made a quick $300.

 

If you pronounce "degen" like "vegan", people will think it's a really cool diet and/or lifestyle. But, we've been doing it since wayyyyyyyyy before it was on Oprah....

 

Awesome hit-n-run wins! I need to do more hit-n-run for the remainder of my trip. I have been stubborn and tried to ride out the losing streaks...no good!

 

Sorry for lack of updates...
I donked off $150 at $1 Quick hit 3-reeler...
Then I hit Aces for $200 on 25c ddb...immediately went to dollars...lost the $200 back..
Went to 3cp and lost $100...then played UTH, FOR THE REST OF THE TIME!!
I stopped at $300, for a comped dinner buffet break.
Whew!

 

Well, just finished up at UTH...lol, I literally played ALL DAY, hahah!
I cashed with the second $300, as I had a decent run at it, and pocketed the three black chips..
Saw the funniest thing...kid sat down at 3rd base...BAM! first hand gets pocket Aces...raises 4x, flop comes Ace-Ace!
About 30 minutes later...he rivers a straight flush!!! He bought in $100, and cashed out $700!
Talk about luck!
As for me, this will probably be my last gambling foray until MAAAYBE February..

I went to the casino Friday night myself as well. 80% actual return on "Airport" Deuces over 800 hands or so, bleh. I could have played 9/6 DDB for the same stakes too (nickels and dimes believe it or not!), but probably good I didn't since I didn't have a natural quad all night.
